"It's... like a broken mirror but the cracks are what's... It's hard to describe cause it doesn't really make any sense. It's like a dream with it's own weird logic? The facets are in the cracks and the forks are part of the impact that send them outwards but then each fork has it's own point of impact and it's like the mirror in the mirror in the mirror in the mirror..."

Nailah kind of shrugs. "No one's poked and prodded me about this I don't think, so I dunno. But when I looked for you in the future there were all kinds of... warbles. That's a technical term I just made up cause I don't think there's a word for it yet."

Haley was trying to improve her multitasking and concentration on multiple things as she walked directly into the path of the two joggers, head buried in her phone and four bottles of water floating in the air, circling her torso in a surprisingly steady orbit.

"I'm just---" Saying? Kidding? Whatever she meant to say, looking back over her shoulder at Janice, she's interrupted by running straight into Haley and her ring of bottled water. With a startled scream she goes tumbling.

Haley let out a surprised shriek as she was bowled over by her partner in crime-fighting and reflexively tried to keep the bottles from falling all over them as they tumbled to the ground in a comically suggestive pose. Unfortunately the TK grasp mostly served to squeeze the water bottles hard enough to make them pop and drench them.

It was *really* cold water, as she'd been outside for quite some time.

Nailah leaps up and backwards with an almost instinctive beating of her wings and lets out a high-pitched "Eeep!" It's not entirely clear if it's because of how she's sprawled across Haley or because part of her leg and most of her tail suddenly got splashed with ice-cold water, enough to soak through fur and matting it against her skin.

Nailah's flap backwards slaps Janice across the face with her wings before she lands on her feet, although she almost collapses from her leg shivering.

"No kidding! Where the heck did you come from!?"
