"...gah. Watch the wings," Janice mutters, slowly getting up.

Haley eyed the new girl who was getting slapped by Nailah's wings curiously. She looked sort of familiar but she'd been holed up so much lately that it was hard to really know.

"I...I needed some fresh air and needed to practice some so I decided to come out here and walk. And I was kinda trying to be like. Really in the zone and stretch my TK as much as I could. But I guess I sorta lost track of everything else.

"Wh-why ice w-water? Can't y-you just u-use rocks or s-something?" she says with chattering teeth. "Gosh d-d-darnit."

"...maybe we should argue about it inside?"

"Y-yeah, I need a t-towel or something..."

"I-I'm s-sorry," Haley shivered, nodding in agreement with Janice and starting to walk towards the dorms. "They were t-the first thing I could find in my room."

"Friend of yours?" she asks Nailah as they head inside.

"S-She's m-my b-bestie," Haley replied quickly hugging herself and rubbing her arms to try and warm up.

"Yeah, besties." Nailah agrees, mustering a grin, her wings twitching to try and shake some of the moisture off before stepping inside. "And Crime-Punchers."

"Oh, so you're like the Rhinestone Cowgirl or somesuch?"

“....y-you know, I might have to steal t-that,” she said as she pushed open the door and held it for the group

"My god, it's like you people don't even spend time scribbling superhero names in the margins of your notes."

"Hey, wh-who are y-you calling 'you people' here?" Nailah objects.

"Crime-punchers," she smirks.

"That's the occupation, not the team-name." she rolls her eyes, trying to distract from the fact that she and Haley don't exactly have a team-name.

“I mean...” she paused in thought, “there are worse names than that.”

“We sorta focused more on doing and less on ....uh... branding.”

"No, I'm with Janice. Crime-Punchers is a terrible name." Nailah says as she lets herself plop down on the common room couch. "It needs to be something with more... pow!" she adds, grabbing her tail and making a disgusted face as she grabs it and runs her fist along it's length, basically wringing it out.

“I’m shitty at names or writing, so I’m not gonna be much help,” she smirked.

"That's one way to get out of any responsibility." Nailah chuckles.

“Have you seen my literature essays?” she smirked, “There’s enough red ink on them to paint the lighthouse.”

"I think mostly you have to come up with something that'd look cool on a shirt or airbrushed on a black van."

“Well Sphinx is already a cool name for you...I’m just like. Blonde Headcase. TK Tiny. “

Nailah laughs. "It's kinda goofy, but I like it."

"You can take Rhinestone Cowgirl if you want, but I'm not sure rhinestones look good on spandex."

“I do kind of like it. And rhinestone looks good on *everything*” she smirked.

"Maybe I'll have to rethink this partnership..." Nailah chuckles.

"Oh, are you the stealthy one? Can't take a sparkly sidekick?"

"I could, but I'd prefer one with taste." she teases.

Haley stuck out her tongue at Nailah. “Back to the drawing board for everything then.”

"I like TK Tiny! But it'd work better if mine was something that goes along with it..."

"Big Birdcat?" Janice teases.

“Big Bird was always my favorite on Sesame Street,” Haley added helpfully.

"Dangit! Okay, maybe not." Nailah chuckles.

"Tiny Tornado and Winged Justice?"

"Okay now we're getting somewhere." she grins.
