Tereza adjusts the bracelet on her wrist, regarding the shiny material as she stalls outside Vivienne's door. She had her own misgivings about being released, no matter how grateful she was for the opportunity. Finally, she takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

Behind the door there as a soft "pop...woosh...pop!" and the scent of burning.

Tereza's nose wrinkled at the smell as she opened the door, "Sweetie, what are you doing?"

"Hmm, ah! Tereza! Just burning false leads and wasted research." She holds up a standard composition notebook and it combusts with a "pop, woosh, pop".

"My wolf research is no longer necessary and I feel it unwise to leave it about."

"Um... yeah. Probably not the sort of thing just anyone should get their hands on. You're doing alright?"

She paused looking through another notebook and looked up at Tereza. "Here, sit."

She pushed a few books away to make room.

"As a whole, I am well. There is no pain and no wound now."

Tereza sits, folding her hands on her knees, a very tight posture for her.

"Mentally...I believe the term would be "hot mess". Annoyed, by so much. Worried about the unknown. Saddened that you are hurting."

"I..." She sighs and looks at her hands, toying with the bracelet. "I hurt you. It's the last thing I wanted to do. No not even that. I never want to hurt you. But I couldn't see through the lies. And that's on me."

"I do not fault you for it, not all of it anyway. It did hurt, but that thing is Samantha. Look, sound, smell, powers...all the same. I do not blame you for not seeing through her deception. It also could have been so much worse and it was not, that is also because of you."

"I... can't argue with that." She looks up. "I wouldn't have wished this on you, but," she reaches out to touch Vivienne's face, "part of me's glad. Which, of course, I feel guilty about."

"It is less then ideal once again, but it is you and I am not alone. I was not looking forward to having to admit to myself that you and Samantha would indeed outlive me." She places her hand over Tereza's and leans into the touch.

Tereza pulls her into a hug, "I guess we both have a lot of work to do then."

She leaned in and nuzzled into Tereza's neck as she adjusted her self to wrap her arms around her.

"Bonus, I can use higher tech now."

"Might be worth a look..." She trails off. "Damn it. My jacket." She stands up suddenly, turning towards the door.

"Eh?" Vivienne wobbles ever so slightly at the sudden disappearance of her cuddle support.

"Jacket?"

"Yeah. Probably not good to be alone right now." She grabs Vivienne's hand and pulls her out towards the scene of the confrontation.

Once there, they start looking around for it. Eventually Tereza gives a frustrated kick at a nearby rock and bends down to pick up a large piece of leather, torn around the edges, with the white painted wolf's head and 'Leader of the Pack' slogan. "God damnit," Tereza sighs.

"Maybe I can frame it," she says, holding up the piece from the back of her jacket. "This is what I could find of it."

"...you know," a familiar voice and presence says, climbing down the bluff, "I'd have figured you two would be inside after everything."

Tereza's attention snaps to the voice and her wolf berates her just a bit for being so wrapped up in a piece of leather that she didn't hear the presence coming. "Had to come see what became of my jacket," she says, trying to play it off.
