"I *think* she's drawing inferences from Isolde's lifespan for me and assuming things about your lifespan based on you being the Morrigan. I think it's a 'former fey' thing and we probably don't properly understand."

"I forfeited my perceived immortality, becoming mortal. I had been searching for magical means to allow me to return to a more equal footing, mortal human durability and longevity are...fleeting."

"That's... ah... certainly optimistic about our relationship, even ignoring the other bits."

"Even before the more intimate facet evolved, you were my friends. I made the decision to stand and fight beside you long ago. I had a steep learning curve with the human side of my magic. As a full human I am stronger and heartier then most, could hold my own and then some against average humans, but we don't deal with just average mortals."

Tereza inclines her head as she regards Vivienne. "And so you were looking for a way to keep up."

"I was and I greatly appreciate that, Love. I neglected my human magic, fey was more instinctual, responding to my human will easily. That is my fault for ignoring a potential powerful aspect of my heritage. If I faced any of the beings of our past encounters now, the best I would be an annoying recurring speed bump."

"I had settled on wolf transformation, but European wolf lore is really messed up. I could not find a documented method of transformation that did not involve boiling or skinning someone alive. I was quickly coming to the realization that your curse was very likely the best and only option. I did not hold out hope for the Entities of the Colonies to be forthcoming with their magic."

"The injury is healed, the sensation now is new to me, but likely not to most humans. I wasn't fully joking about lamenting the need to shave more often now. I may take up skirts again."
