Chisaki did as she said she would and helped Katarina take her things back to her room.

She figured by now the would be lovers should have finished making Basil 'feel better', but when she made it to their room, the sign was still up.

'Horizontal study in progress' it read, with a picture of an emoji catching some ZzZz's.

'Mmm... Right. 'Sleeping.....That is what that means.' She thought sarcastically, then pulled out her phone to text both Basil and Colette simultaneously.

'Clear to come in?' She wrote.

The response came a little quicker than Chisaki might have expected - Colette must have been on her phone at the time she got the text. Inside Basil and Colette were laying atop her bed, dressed in comfortable PJs and watching something on her tablet. There was actual chill in this Netflix and chill.

"Allo Chisaki-chan. We did not inconvenience you, I hope."

"No, no bother. " Chisaki replied, collapsing on her bed.

"So, feeling alright?" She asked of Colette.

Basil too was dressed down, and reached down to Colette's tablet to turn on subtitles.

Chisaki could be incredibly chatty when she wanted to be. If Colette wouldn't be offended he'd just tell the walking freak show to leave, but since he couldn't, this was the next best option.

Colette gently rubbed Basil's back. "I zink we are doing better, yes."

"You look exhausted yourself. Rough day?"

Basil may have already ticked all the boxes on Colette's perfect boyfriend list, but one would think he was aiming for 'surrogate pet' the way he frequently responded to her physical attention.

He let off a light, contented sigh at the circles being rubbed against his back, his muscles rolling into her hand at the petting. Only Colette would see what was hidden from Chisaki, a dopey lovesick grin painted on his face.

Not that he knew that of course, he was simply responding to the stimuli regardless of who was present. Though Chisaki being clued into their private games and not seeming to care or judge them did make Basil feel more comfortable about expressing himself in her presence, which was an advantage to her being Colette's room mate.

Chisaki did not seem to mind what could be constituted as a PDA, though perhaps not seeing his dingus face helped.

"Yes. I had to go into Maldon after the fight. Once I was done, I helped Katarina Karkov take her shopping to her room. She had a lot of it."

Colette continued her rubbing, a small but contented smile on her face.

"Food-stuff shopping?" She asked curiously.

Basil tapped something on the screen dropped Colette's tablet gently in the bed and rolling over on his side to relax. He picked up his phone and texted Colette while shimmying into a comfortable spot.

"Stopping show, accepting rubbies instead while girls chat."

Then he started some searches up to decide what he was going to do for her for Valentine's while accepting her attention.

"No. Clothes.

Why? Does she owe you groceries?"

Colette was able to rub Basil's shoulders with both hands while still facing Chisaki - one of the benefits of not having bones.Basil might've been upset by the sight if he saw it, her hands on the "wrong arms" to feel more natural.

"No, but she is going to help me to learn to cook some Symkarian dishes." Which was partially true, at least.

"Aaahhh, so that is where she is from.

She said something about meeting with people and needing something nice for it. She said she knew you too, but I did not get the impression the clothes were for you. "

[Colette Rosenhof]

The back of Colette's shirt lifted a big behind her, two more arms reaching out to rub the small of Basil's back and his flank."

"Zen zey must be for whomever else she is going to meet wiz." The woman shrugged softly. "No matter. Oh, did you not get anyzing for yourself while you were out?"

Basil was quite relaxed, even when the extra arms started in... until he realized that wasn't normal...? Then he seized up a bit, pulling away from the second set as he tried to assess who they were attached to.

"Oh no. I was not shopping. The closest stores I might be interested in are in Paris.

Maybe I could find some decent things in London, or a rare find in a thrift store... But most of my purchases come from the internet."

A pink hand moved up to stroke Basil's cheek and gently boop his nose, trying to reassure him as she carried on her nonchalant conversation.

"I am razer fond of ze charity shops, zough I must admit zat in ze past I have been shopping for more formal and mundane items zan I have taken to wearing more recently. Zanks to ze gifts from some very generous friends of course."

"Yes. Benson-senpai has quite the knack for picking out pretty things, though I suppose I should not sound surprised."

Still feeling the other set on his shoulders and seeing this second set was pink was enough to get him calmed down again.

He planted a quick peck on her wrist as she went in for the boop to assure her back that what she was doing was ok.

Weird, but ok. Kind of nice actually.

Colette tittered softly at the compliment, hands resuming their work once Basil settled in.

"Zough, I am somewhat surprised you do not simply look to Paris for inspiration, and create your own masterpieces. Zough zat would be very time-consuming...."

" Fashion is a demanding field, and not many appreciate proper fabrics, fine cuts and quality stitching. They just want pants that fit and make them look normal. That goes double so for our kind.

So for now I shall keep my designs to myself and my professors."

Colette idly played with Basil's hair, able to spare one hand from the task at hand.

"So, I should not expect to see some new and original take on ze Hogwarts uniform at a certain upcoming event?"

Chisaki thought on it for a moment.

"Benson-senpai, what do you know about British school uniforms from the early to mid twentieth century?"

Basil was not super pleased about being distracted from his petting, but he allowed himself to be since ignoring her presence wasn't going to cut it when she was speaking to him.

"The only thing I know about British school uniforms is that I hated mine."

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette turned to look at Basil over her shoulder.

"Did zey make you wear ze little cap?"

[Basil Benson]

"No caps, that's generally a private school thing, I was in state school." A surprising turn of events for potentially the richest kid in Kensington.

"Nowadays they are usually some form of matched set blazer, tie, dress shirt, trousers, and dress shoes. The girls frequently get to wear sweater vests instead of ties, and nearly always wear skirts instead of trousers.

However, due to the nature of uniforms they are frequently ill fit and made of inferior quality fabrics that clean easy in a washing machine, especially at state school. And of course, everyone is wearing the exact same colours so you're right buggered if they're not suited to your complexion. "

"Ill-fitting and uncomfortable clozing is somezing zat I know all too well. I am sorry Basil."

"Pics or it did not happen. " Chisaki demanded, grinning devilishly.

[Colette Rosenhof]

"I somehow doubt zat Basil carries around a snap of zis in his pocket." Just a little good-natured ribbing.

"Yes, Basil does not have a cellphone with a cloud account or a social media page full of incriminating pictures of bad youth fashion choices. Let's not look into this any further." Basil replied, jokingly trying to put an end to this.

"Zis is correct.

For zat, we must call Basil's Bubbe."

[Basil Benson]

"Oh, we're going to call Bubbe eh? What else are we going to talk about? Are we going to bring up I am at fulfilling my obligations to my female around my work schedule diligently as per Jewish tradition? I'm sure she'd love that." He jokes.

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Oh, I am certain zat your grandmozer would be just dzrilled were I to call her and tell her zat."

[Basil Benson]

"What?! But I thought you liked bragging on me?" Basil replied, then started in on the mockery.

" 'Bazeel is so selfless, 'ee flies to third world countries to give ze children ze shirt off hees back. Bazeel is so 'andsome, 'ee would make Korean boy groups cry at ze sight of 'im.' "

The lecherous look his face took on before the next statement should probably be a dead giveaway for the perversion that was about to pass his lips. As he spoke it, his words became quieter as he pressed his face into Colette's ear.

" ' Bazeel is so sweet....' " His words faded too quiet for Chisaki to hear, but not Colette.

She couldn't see his face, but Chisaki could tell the bullying was some form of weird flirtation and got up to go get ready for bed in the bathroom before Basil even got to the bad bit, ensuring she definitely didn't catch whatever it was he was whispering to Colette.

Colette let out a gasp, and four hands pathetically slapped at Basil's arm and side in the weakest of punishments.

"Baseeeel, you are obscene!"

"Well, that's not flattering." He pouts playfully, stretching his back a bit to ready himself to stand. "I guess I'll just take my obscenity back to my room with me."

"Bonne nuit, Reine de Gelée." He states as he stands, smirking at her as he makes to leave.

Colette thought at first that perhaps Basil had taken her seriously, but the way he continued to tease her convinced her otherwise. Perhaps it was just to let Chisaki enjoy her room as she saw fit.

"Yes, you do zat." She responded. "And send me a text when you get there." A simple command, but one she was comfortable making.

"Yes madam."

Basil would leave, but he would send her that text when he got back to his room to continue his lewd observations later.
