"And in the end, we're all just humans..."

Basil had shrugged off Chase at some point, finding the strength to walk on his own and being embarrassed by being physically helped by the other boy. After assuring his friend he was going to be fine, he helped Colette guide Jezabelle back towards her room.

"Let's tuck you in tight... and then I'm going to sleep myself and pretend this never happened."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

It was kind of sad that, out of the three of them, the one who was best on their feet was the one who lacked a skeleton. Jez dragged her feet, feeling utterly exhausted.

"Do you think you'll be able to get any sleep? After what they told me tonight about demons and stuff, I'm afraid to close my eyes for too long."

[Basil Benson]

Basil thought on the question. His natural answer was 'magic is nonsense and demons are bullshit and even if they weren't, I can sleep wrapped up in a Colette pretty easily. '

But Jezabelle didn't have one of those.

"... Did you need to talk for a bit?"

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jez's expression improved at Basil's offer, but then she looked over at Colette before shaking her head. "No, I'll be fine. Besides, you two've got a Valentine's day together to salvage."

[Basil Benson]

Basil chuckled ruefully.

"I think Madame has oversold my skills if you honestly think I have the energy for that."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Oui, we already celebrated ze holiday zis morning and afternoon." Colette confirmed, with the blonde's arm over her shoulder. "We wished to be able to attend ze party zis evening."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"Aww, you guys didn't have to go through that trouble. But I do appreciate it. A few people going full-nerd gives everyone else courage to be a little silly, and you two really went all-out with your costumes."

Still, she gave Basil a little grin. "Why? What do you think Colette has been telling me about you?"

[Basil Benson]

"I have no bloody clue." Basil confessed.

"So what's it going to be ladies?" Basil asked as they came to room 113. Jezabelle was ten down the line still.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"What is... what going to be?" Jezabelle seemed confused about the choices being offered.

[Basil Benson]

Basil looked at Colette, and spoke in French.

"She's pretty shaken up. Should we have her stay?"

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette looked surprised at Basil's question, and at first thought against it. But as she thought about it, she felt more empathy for the shaken girl. It's not like they had anything super special planned anyway.

"That... may be for the best. I'll ask her."

Colette turned her head toward the girl, who was confused because people were speaking in code around her.

"Madame Sherlock, would you - what is ze words - would you be more comfortable if you were not alone tonight?"

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"What, like a sleepover? Or... oh wow, I never would have thought you two... I thought Basil was exhausted?"

[Basil Benson]

It took Basil a moment.

"No! God no. That's not what I meant at all."

The comment hung in the air awkwardly for several more moments before he clarified.

"Not that you're not attractive, of course!" He blurted out again realizing how that sounded.

"I wouldn't ever take advantage of a scared woman is all I meant.

I just.... feel bad leaving you by yourself when you're scared."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

The awkward silence and Basil's hurried explanation made Jezabelle laugh hard enough that she had to lean against Colette again, which actually wasn't that much considering how weak she was.

"Ah ha ha, oh wow, awkwaaaaaard. I guess I've been spending too much time online if that's how I'm reading situations." Her face is flushed, looking between the two of them.

"... you'd really be okay with keeping me company?"

[Basil Benson]

"If Madame says it's fine. Though not sure how conversational I'll be.

Chisaki probably won't be back for a bit anyways, what with Diego catching this as well."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"I zink zat Chisaki would prefer having Madame Sherlock sleep over zan my usual guest." Colette joked in approval.

[Basil Benson]

"Listen missy-" Basil was invisible but one could more or less guess at his expression as he continued.

"What Chisaki doesn't know won't hurt her.

Now open up the door, or you're going to be dragging us both in."

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette unlocked the door and allowed her two guests inside, turning on the light to reveal a mostly neat and tidy form room. She was even the type of girl who made her bed, what a nerd.

[Basil Benson]

A neat and tidy bed which her boyfriend unceremoniously face plowed into dramatically, like a corpse.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"Oh, wow, he put up a much better front than I realized." Jez didn't seem too surprised, probably because she was pretty close to joining him in the same manner.

"We, um, should get his shoes off, and pants, and stuff. You're probably more qualified for that than I am."

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette let out a little gasp when Basil collapsed, leaning over him to check and make sure he was okay, rolling him onto his back.

[Basil Benson]

Basil was laying incredibly still, but when Colette got close enough she could hear him breathing. His body relaxed, he didn't seem to put up a fight at being rolled over.

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette let out a little sigh of relief. "Oh good, he is simply exhausted. My poor tomcat." She sat down on the edge of the bed and began to untie his shoes, letting them fall to the floor as she got the comatose young man ready for bed.

"I am afraid zat I do not really have much to offer in ze realm of pajamas, but if zere are some t-shirts in ze second drawer if you would like."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jezabelle was already loosening her tie and kicking off her shoes when Colette made the offer. "Oh, thank you. That'd be much more comfortable than my button-up." She approached the girl's dresser and opened the drawer, finding several over-sized t-shirts inside. She just picked one at random and went into the water closet to get changed. When she eventually returned she was wearing the t-shirt which ended just at her hips and her underwear, holding the rest of her clothes & bra in a bundle that she set in a chair for now. Her hair was down and she'd taken her glasses off, two looks that were very uncommon for her.

Colette had stripped Basil of his things and tucked him under the blanket she kept for his use. He felt her multiarms removing his clothes, but he hadn't responded yet to either of the ladies.

[Colette Rosenhof]

"If he were awake, Baseel would insist on being placed in a chair so zat we could have ze bed. Which is why I shall not wake him. Ze boz of you need your rest more zan I do, I will simply retrieve my old bin and use zat tonight." She bent over the bed to try and scooch Basil over enough to make some room.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"You, um... you're going to give up your bed so that I can sleep on it, with your boyfriend, and force you to sleep in a bucket?"

[Colette Rosenhof]

"You are not forcing me to do anyzing, I am offering. And you are sharing a bed, not... somezing more zan zat." Colette may have gotten upset when she thought she saw Basil kiss another woman, but those were different circumstances. She wasn't the kind of woman who got upset by the idea of her man talking to another woman and she wasn't going to let herself stray down that path.

"Besides, if I were to share ze bed as well, it would be very... close. And if you were to touch me in your sleep ze feeling may startle you."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"I... don't think I'd mind that. I dunno if Basil told you but I'm a bit of a cuddlebug when I sleep. So closeness... would actually make things better."

[Colette Rosenhof]

Colette looked down at Basil. He seemed so peaceful. "Well... alright. Zough I am not certain which one of us is Scylla and which is Charybdis." The girl lost a lot of her defining features and "fell" to the floor, eliciting a little yelp from Jezabelle as she brushed her foot while going under the bed and retrieving a shirt for herself from the drawer, only to drag it back under the bed to the other side and reform wearing it.

"Now, you must promise me zat if at any point you are uncomfortable wiz zis, you will tell me. Correct?" She asked as she started to climb onto the bed.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"I have no idea what that first part meant, but I promise."Jez climbed onto the bed herself and, partially out of necessity, wrapped her arms around the sleeping man as she hugged herself to his side. It didn't take long before exhaustion overtook her.

[Basil Benson]

At first, Basil was funning Colette. He let her roll him over and was completely awake as she undressed him.

But his prank backfired when he actually did accidentally fall asleep once she stopped touching him and before either of the girls had settled in on him like the gangly, knobby mattress he made.

As such, he slept with Colette on his left, her featureless face nuzzled into his neck as she molded herself into the contours of his body to conserve space. Basil had wormed his arm up and around the vague shape of a waist as was his instinct to do, his bare cheek leant against the orb that made up her head when she was awake.

To the right was Jezabelle, her arm laid gently across his torso once the sleep took her fully, his weight a bit of a burden on her other arm caused it to become nestled against the side of his ribcage instead of under him. She got the curtain hair side of his face with the tickly, soft curls.

And there he lay in the morning betwixt the pair with the usual nocturnal tumescence of a man his age.

Colette was getting better at this whole sleeping thing. While she may have looked like a lingerie store mannequin, that was a huge improvement to what she had been able to do when she had first arrived at the school. She had been sleeping in a big rubbermaid bin, then graduated to a full-body latex suit to try and train her to subconsciously keep her shape even as she slept. Now she was keeping all of her limbs and basic shapes, even if she lacked any sort of hair or facial features; but those might come with time. It had taken her years to learn that she needed to move her mouth certain ways to make speaking look right, or to blink on occasion, or move her eyes and head to look at things. Even breathing had been a learning experience. Now it all came naturally to her.

Now, whether or not she truly slept the way other do, well that was something she probably didn't even know herself. For now she just wrapped one of her legs around Basil's as she began to stir, her hand resting on an arm more slender than she expected.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Her exhaustion, coupled with the warmth and softness of two other bodies sharing the bed, had allowed Jez to sleep very soundly. well past her usual internal clock. As the students began to stir she too was half on top of the boy, her leg draped over his as she cuddled him like her beloved dakimakura. Had her hand found something? Well yes, though mostly out of habit, as she lay there snoring like a kitten.

Basil started giggling.

"That's not for you, but if you give me twenty minutes i can make you one . " He commented under the assumption it was Colette.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"Nuh thanks... brought my own." Jez slurs into Basil's hair, wrinkling her nose as her dreams warp to incorporate what she hears.

[Colette Rosenhof]

For her part, Colette tittered softly - not knowing the context of what Basil was saying but recognizing the affectionate tone. She began to stir and form, pressing a gooey little peck to his cheek.

[Basil Benson]

Basil's eyes opened slightly as Colette gave him a quick kiss, but Jezabelle's voice replied.

He assessed his situation, and commented-"Mmmyes, I've noticed. " At Jezbelle's grip on his manhood.

"Coouullld you perhaps... give it back?"

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jez began to stir, spending a few moments in that sleep-addled haze of trying to figure out who was talking and where she was.

"Hmmm?"

Basil let off a light sigh and went to gently pluck up her hand by the wrist to lay it elsewhere.
