"Getting pranked?" she says with a hesitant grin. "Gotcha."

Tereza raises an eyebrow at Robin and then looks down at Sam, her head tilting to the side slightly as she notes the green blanket.

"A prank, eh?"

"Then I guess this is fair play."

"Tereza? Fetch."

"Gulp." she actually says out loud before turning tail and taking off down the driveway.

Tereza doesn't even bother to comment, leaping over Sam and hitting the ground on all fours to take off after Robin.

Robin is fast, a reckless disregard for regular limbs and joints'll do that, but she's not as fast as a giant wolf, so she suddenly cuts left when Tereza gets too close, hoping she'll pounce past her.

Tereza seems to be mentally prepared for that eventuality, but momentum's still a thing and she loses a lot of steam as she does a skidding left turn necessitated by her speed and bulk. It takes her a moment to find get her purchase back and start building speed again.

The blanked leaned ever so slightly to watch the chase. You know, very subtle and smoothly-like.

Robin can't help but laugh at the giant wolf skidding past her before cutting another corner, continuing to run while holding on to a nearby tree with one hand, arm stretching out behind her.

Tereza slams into the tree, which looks like an accident at first until one of her hands reaches out to grab the stretching arm as her shoulder tries to pin the hand to the tree.

Sam starts gathering the blankets up to see if she can make them more of a toga than just draped over her while she watches.

This was, perhaps, more difficult than Sam had originally thought, as the blanket seemed to be trying to shy away from being actively wrapped around Sam as much as possible.

Sam blinks, then looks down.

"...so how did your daughter talk you into this one?"

[Will Stanton]

"You can blame Tereza for the specifics here; grabbing people in her sleep. She's very handsy."

[Samantha McManus]

"So it's just a coincidence you snuck into our room the same night Robin was pulling a prank?"

She arches a ginger brow.

[Will Stanton]

"Well, I wouldn't go that far. A little bit of humor goes a long way to cheer people up, so I will admit I was on board.

Lying on top of you, however? I mean, again, that's something you're going to have to interrogate your girlfriend about. Girlfriend A."

"So you're saying I should put you down?"

[Will Stanton]

"I'm saying I wouldn't have tried to sneak into your bed, mostly.

You're welcome to put me down but, uh, there might be a bit of a draft... Wouldn't want to leave you in an em-bare-ass-ing position."

Robin had planned to sling-shot herself back when Tereza came after her. She had not expected her to be clever about it so now instead of catapulting herself to freedom she's inadvertently flung towards the angry wolf.

Tereza extends her free hand to catch the flying Robin, trying to brace for the expected momentum without really knowing what to expect.

Robin has the mass of an average person, but getting yanked through the air she instinctively changes her consistency to be pretty malleable, so the impact isn't too bad. It does mean that she kind of splats into Tereza's hand and around her splayed fingers in ribbons, wrapping around her forearm like a braid.

Tereza closes her fist and looks at the braid briefly before heading back in Sam's direction.

"In my defense, it was hilarious." the fistful of pink goo points out as they get back to Sam.

"...hilarious, aye."

"So you're going to get our bed back inside, then?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Not sure we want it. Been on the driveway," Tereza points out.

[Robin Stanton]

"It's just some gravel. Come on, guys. It's not my fault you sleep auo naturalle." she says, butchering the pronunciation.

[Will Stanton]

"I mean," Sam's blanket toga explained. "This was her idea from the very start. Thought she could get one up on a less experienced war goddess and her lovers. Never could pull this off back home."

Playing both sides, I see.

"So which one of you wants to explain to Viv that two thirds of our bed got dragged through the dirt?"

[Robin Stanton]

"I will have you know that there was no dragging involved. I'm not a monster."

"You may also wish to inform her of the wondrous bounties here in the mortal world, that of water and soap."

[Samantha McManus]

"Oh come on, now. Viv bathes."

[Will Stanton]

"And her sheets will, too.

Rule number one of Stanton pranking: Never do something the prankee can't opt out of. Rule number two: Leave no permanent harm done.

"And where's the machine the mattresses fit in?"

[Will Stanton]

"We have high-tech stealth planes, an alien-inspired simulation room and a lighthouse which technically expands into other dimensions. I am sure that we have the capacity to wash some fabric."

"Also I can make it walk and shake itself like a dog."

[Samantha McManus]

"Okay, what are we expected to sleep on tonight?"

[Will Stanton]

"I spent a couple months in a cabinet. I'm sure you'll get by," the blanket joked.

[Robin Stanton]

"What he meant to say is that he makes for one hell of a bed. Or pile of bear-furs."

[Will Stanton]

"Robin..." Will cautioned.

"What? It's true! I should know."
