"But mostly it's because I am thinking of how I'm going to wreck all the pretty things you're putting on later. It's not as exciting when I've already wrecked them. " He mused. "Then it's depressing, because I know that means one of us is about to leave."

"So you lament every sunset, zinking zat you will never see ze sun again?"

"Yes." He replied, sounding amused. " I'm surprised you haven't noticed that Chisaki is not the only one with a sensitive artist's soul." He joked as he pulled his trousers on.

"I will allow it, so long as you do not begin gilding animal skulls."

[Basil Benson]

"I guess I'll have to sell off my taxidermy collection before we move in together." He mused, not really hinting if he was joking or serious as he pulled his A-Shirt over his head, disrupting his already chaotic mass of curls.

"No no, you may keep zem. Just place zem in storage. If you purchase a motel you may keep zem in ze office."

[Basil Benson]

"I only cross-dress as cognizant homicidal people, thank you very much." Basil noted, doing up his shirt buttons.

"Ooh, so is zat ze zeme for our next date night?" She teased, her arm stretching a bit to brush against him. "Zough I zink I would much prefer you as ze dapper gentleman I fell for."

"I promise that fishnets and corsets won't turn me into a cannibal who delights in coercion. I will still be the most polite of gentlemen."

"A gentleman in garters, perfect." Once Basil was mostly dressed Colette slipped out from her covers and got to her feet, laying her arms over his shoulders before giving him a little kiss, very careful not to get his clothes wet - she was learning.

"Text me tonight?"

Basil in turn snuggled into her face playfully in a fit of the giggles.

"Of course Madame. As always.

And soon, no more. Soon, I will stay with you in bed for however long you'd like, in the place of our own."

It sounded too good to be true. And in truth, Colette sometimes worried that she was trapped in a dream of her own making, like the sitcom they'd been entombed in earlier that school year. Things were just so perfect, so fast. But hearing Basil giggle the way he did, seeing him smile, dashed any negative feelings she might have had, any dark thoughts that she was exploiting him. The young man was happy, and so was she.

"I hope you will not resent me for fattening you up, once we have a proper kitchen."
