Seeing Sam struggle with this should warm her heart. It's something she thought the red-head was above, one of the reasons why she was so much better than her and seeing her knocked down to her level ought to be vindicating somehow. Instead Miriam just feels bad.

"I know. It's too easy. It's always there, just a thought away. Just do it. It'll probably be better, right? What does she know, she's not in her right mind and you can clearly see that. How long do you think you can keep that up? A week? A month? A year? How long until you resent just constantly having to police your own thoughts?"
