[Victor Freud]

"Gosh, they're lucky that this isn't a school full of kids packin' superpowers who can stage a mighty big protest if they get pushed too far."

[Leo Eskandari]

He snorted a laugh and smirked. "Yeah. Lucky them. No giant beastmen either."

[Victor Freud]

"Hey. Man first, beast second." Victor raised a finger as though he was some wise sage.

[Leo Eskandari]

"Well yeah, but manbeast just sounds stupid. Like a friggin' 80's cartoon villain."

[Victor Freud]

"Which is why we spend a good bit of time thinking up our cool code names."

[Leo Eskandari]

"For now mine is just what I look like, Manticore. I might go with Chimera instead. Or somethin' less obviously monstery if it comes to me."

[Victor Freud]

"I think it works. It gets the message across."

[Leo Eskandari]

"It is pretty accurate, short of the eating people. It literally means maneater. Which, I suppose, just makes it more metal."

[Victor Freud]

"Just so long as you don't eat in your sleep, I guess we'll be fine."

Leo started to bristle (figuratively, mind you) at the comment before remembering that he had brought it up.

"You probably wouldn't taste good anyway," he smirked, but his eyes betrayed his fear of becoming such a thing.

"At least I've got that going for me. Hopefully Em doesn't feel the same way." Crude.

"So, anything I should know ahead of time to avoid any awkwardness or fights? Like, do you have a keener sense of smell and I should avoid scented deodorant, or stuff like that?"

[Leo Eskandari]

"Actually, yeah, it would be great if you avoided with a strong smell. And loud music. I have heightened hearin' too."

"Anythin' I need to know?"

[Victor Freud]

Victor raised his fingers as though he'd had an idea. "Headphones, got it." He thought about anything from his end.

"Not really. At least, nothin' I can think of. I don't really do shrinky dink shenanigans in my room all that much so you don't gotta worry about me being underfoot."

"Well, no more than anyone else not super-sized," he joked.

[Victor Freud]

"Unfortunately, I'm not the one with that schtick." Victor kicked his shoes off and let himself fall back onto his bed.

Leo stared at Vic for a long second before breaking out into laughter.

"And it is too!" he guffawed.
