A bet's a bet and even if Nailah isn't entirely sure how Zandra managed to get her to concede so quickly, she's not gonna walk back on something like that. So she ends up heading downstairs to the laundry room. Maybe nobody's gonna even know about it or take advantage...

Nailah's hopes were dashed, as several mountains of laundry awaited her.

Almost as if they were gathered at super-speed for just such an occasion.

"Zandraaaaa!" Nailah groans as she stares down the mountain of laundry, poking at one of the piles as if that would magically make it disappear.

Nailah groans and dramatically tilts her head back before turning around and letting it loll back down to look at Quinn.

"You tricked me into thinking you guys wouldn't be so bad."

"Woah, don't look at me," Quinn said, putting his hands up defensively. "You're taking out your misplaced anger at Zandra over here."

"I suppose you could put it that way," Quinn laughed. "Nothing quite so formal, but I do think that positive feedback is the way to go. I have sort of appointed myself morale officer; hence the talent show and the getting-to-know-you games and getting out and about, shaking hands."

"You might need to add an extra zero and a different currency symbol to get people to bite," Quinn laughed, coming more into the laundry room. "But maybe we can work something out."

"Suuuure? But you do realize there's not really 20 'quid' in there, right?" she says, putting the emphasis on the currency as if to reinforce that she is indeed aware of the UK's insistence on their own currency.

"I've got some ideas for the whole thing -- flipping the normal order of operations on it's head, as it were. Give them something they haven't seen before, even if it's built out of the same basic ingredients."

Quinn delicately poked at some of the laundry. "Alright, odds there are multiple Stantons hiding out here?"

"I could use a bit of magic to make them all disappear, but then I think that would rather poison your floor against the prefects more than they are already, hrm?"

"Could you do that? I would sacrifice a pair of pants to see that." she says, digging through the pile of laundry to find the vein of her own buried in there somewhere and yanking on a pants-leg to extract it from the pile.
