"You're not the only thing keeping me from becoming her."

"You're just the most pleasant one," she chuckles.

"Pleasant is not an adjective I would have thought would have been applied to me."

[Samantha McManus]

"Maybe I should tell you it more often. See if it sticks."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I wouldn't count on it sticking. Might freeze in place though."

[Samantha McManus]

"The other thing is... well, it's Will again."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"What now?"

[Samantha McManus]

"What we found in the crater was... some sort of precursor chemical to MGH."

"Will... ate it, and it taught his cells how to make more."

"So he's still at Muir and this turned into a very special episode of Xavier's."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Great," Tereza says, "Anything I can do there?"

[Samantha McManus]

"Radical personality swerve. He's surly and doesn't want to give it up. Which might be the fact of how... literal he can be."

"Seems convinced we're all trying to hold him back."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"That's... not exactly out of the realm of his normal feelings I don't think," Tereza says, mulling over past conversations. "Exaggerated maybe."

[Samantha McManus]

"Maybe not but... I don't know. Miriam would tell me to just fix him whether he wants it or not, but that doesn't feel right either."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza frowns, "Yeah, that's not a route anyone should take."

[Samantha McManus]

"I don't think he's ready to admit it, but he could probably use a friend right now."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I doubt they'd let me make a trip to Muir," Tereza says, "But not everything has to be on your shoulders."

[Samantha McManus]

"They let you visit me," she shrugs with a sigh.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"That's easier to argue with the administration," she says, putting her hands on Sam's shoulders.

[Samantha McManus]

"You know we detoured there because the new boss doesn't really have any jurisdiction there, aye? We were hoping it'd be a better place than just bringing him back."

"The headmaster seems to have... ideas about Will. His class load is bloody insane."

"So saying 'here's Will, his powers are off the charts now that his body produces super-meth" didn't seem like a great idea.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm not disagreeing, Sam," Tereza said, "You made the right call. I'm talking about arguing that I need to go there to visit."

[Samantha McManus]

"I know, I'm just... unpacking it, I guess."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm still kind of on double secret probation, so I have to be a bit careful," she says, holding up her wrist with the tracker bracelet that Ashlie had given her.

[Samantha McManus]

"You so don't deserve that anymore."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Not really an argument I want to try to have with Lippincott. I probably could have made the case with Ashlie, but I have no idea what she put in the files about me or what they may have taken from them."

[Samantha McManus]

"...aye."

"Guess the feeling bad about not being able to help goes both ways."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I could probably ask Natalie to look at the files if I wanted and if Viv calls needing me, then I'll have Natalie fry the tracker so they can't find her. All about contingencies."

[Samantha McManus]

"You've a leg up on me with sneaking under the noses of authority figures."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I don't recommend how I gained my experience."

[Samantha McManus]

"I know, but it's still something I can learn from you."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"A lot is about knowing who you can trust."

[Samantha McManus]

Sam's phone chimes as it gets a text.

"Speaking of, that's Tosh about Will. Want to come with?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Fewer people, less attention," Tereza says, "besides, I still need to work on some stuff here. Let me know if you need something from me though."

[Samantha McManus]

"Stuff, aye?" She smirks conspiratorially.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Stuff," she nods.

[Samantha McManus]

"I'll leave you to it, then. Catch you later."
