After breakfast, human Leo snatched up the TV remote and plopped down on the sofa in a way that his chimera self would never do for fear of breaking it.

"So what should we veg out with? Netflix? Hulu?

...

"Disney" Ainsley replied in written response.

Because of course he was an toon hound.

He loaded that up and asked, "Got something in mind?"

"Just... anything but Lion King."

"Best one though."

"I'm just not in the mood for talkin' lions. Not anytime soon. Y'know, having been one."

"Also, Aladdin is totally better," he smirked.

"LIES." Ainsley wrote in bold letters.

"No.

Only movie with African roots."

"Oh. Duh."

"That's part of why I like Aladdin. The Middle Eastern representation. Sure, Persians aren't Arabs but some the Arabian Nights stories have Persian origins."

"Is Lion King what you want?"

"Meh." He wrote and shrugged. "Your pick."

"Howaboouut..." he said in thought as he looked through the choices, "Beauty and the Beast is too on the nose. Maybe Sword in the Stone?"

"Are you saying I'm cute?" he smirked, leaning in a little.

Ainsley smirked, scrawling out something without breaking Leo's eye contact.

"You alright."

He didn't deny it. Instead he leaned in even closer, making it obvious what he's angling for.

Ainsley knew what he was angling for. Apparently the other boy was a bit of a tease because he didn't pull backwards, but he did lean a little off center, still grinning at Leo to see what he was gonna do.

"Not getting away that easy," Leo said as he kept pace, an amused gleam in his eyes.

Apparently provoking Ainsley only made him more wiley. Like a child, his face lit up as he realized this had elevated to a game as he weaved his head in the opposite direction of Leo's mouth.

He laughed, "You're terrible. But I know just what to do you tricksy boy. "

Then he cheated and used his arms to pull Ainsley into a quick kiss.

"Gotcha," he grinned.

Yep. Definitely gay.

Ainsley looked amused, but in the bad way.

Like a parent who knows their kid did wrong but was having a hard time yelling at their kid due to the situation.

Leo's grin collapsed.

"I... I thought..." he stammered. Had he misread the situation?

Ainsley could tell he was confused and potentially upset, but he stood fast.

"You stole that.

What did you forget?"

He felt he should know the answer, but was clueless. His mouth moved but he didn't actually say anything out of fear of saying the wrong thing.

"First time?"

He just stared for a moment and then somehow both blushed and blanched.

"Oh... oh God. I'm sorry! I thought you..."

He turned away and leaned forward to beat his hands against his forehead, "Idiot! Idiot!"

Ainsley clearly thought beating himself up literally waa new to g himself up too much by his expression. He reached out to take the other boy by the wrists to stop him.

He stopped and looked over. He was still red with shame.

How could he keep doing things wrong? He just knew he was going to drive Ainsley away if he kept acting so... well, like a desperate squirrel.

Ainsley raised one of Leo's wrists towards his lips, then stoped, giving the other boy an inquisitive look.

Ainsley kisses the young man's hands, then held them tightly.

After that he closed his eyes and leant into Leo, his lips relaxed

Waiting.

Leo straightened up and pressed his lips to Ainsley's. He was hesitant at first, but soon gave it more passion as he built back up his nerve. It was crystal clear he had been thinking about this moment for a while now.

To say Ainsley lacked passion wasn't quite right. Rather, he simply held the sort of control of someone who had done this before, if not a lot.

He mostly let Leo control the pace, though he made sure he was kissing back.

He held on a little longer before pulling away with a soft, happy smile. It could be nothing, but had he seemed a little warm?

"Wow. Just... well, any doubt about being gay is gone," he said with a smirk.

Ainsley didn't notice Leo's temperature, having focused too much on not scaring the shit out of him again.

Ainsley smiled back then looked at the TV.

He was feeling robbed of his Netflix part of this arrangement.
