"'Bouncy' is a good description, at least often. She does tend to have an affinity for rubber," Will chuckled. "Sugar-high might be another good one."

"This is good feedback," she says, smiling, "Anything else? Even your prior experience with a Mastermind system might help."

"Back home, I was in charge of the X-Men, so Mastermind would often come and grab me when a situation needed swift action -- especially if Captain Britain was unavailable, as she often was.

He was very....insistent that I arrive on time, and when you have holo-emitters throughout the campus buildings and a certain set of priorities... let's just say there were times when I wish he had had an off switch or a snooze button. Emergencies are one thing, but what the Citadel considers to be an emergency and what actually is an emergency aren't always simpatico."

"So an actual triage system before engaging the X-Men," she says with a nod, "I think we can manage that."

"And confidence! It's a big new role; I'm sure there'll be mistakes along the line. It's all good --practice makes perfect."

"Confidence... yes..." For a moment, Clarion looked even more like the Natalie he was used to.

"Was it something I said?"

"Oh no no," she smiles, ""Confidence is something we can work on. In fact, we should definitely work on it now that I've reviewed the old data."

"...Well, good, then! Confidence is really important in any kind of leader -- and, as the Crystal Computer, I'm sure Natalie will have all kinds of insane sounding bullshit to try to convince people about, so confidence in what she does will go a long way to getting us idiots falling in line," Will joked.

"Yes, though I understand dimensional incursions are not unknown here. That makes it somewhat easier."

[Will Stanton]

"That includes me, technically. I came through in a dimensional incursion, a long time ago."

"You are non-hostile though and don't intend to take over this dimension?"

[Will Stanton]

"Man, I wouldn't know what to do with a dimension if I did take it over. I'd probably just shove it in the back of a closet, taking up space."

"You would need a very special closet to do that," she says with a soft laugh.

[Will Stanton]

"Y'know, interdimensional, pocket dimension storage spaces. They can be quite comfy, from what I hear!"

"They can also destabilize and send their contents to parts unknown. But that should be avoided."

[Will Stanton]

"Oh yeah. In that case, I'll definitely give up on any plans for dimensional domination, no worries," he nodded, mock-seriously.

"Probably for the best. Our job would be much easier if everyone took that line."

[Will Stanton]

"If everyone took that line, the X-Men wouldn't need to exist, either. Ah well, such is life," Will laughed, shrugging.

"It's good to have purpose, I believe you said," she says with a sweet smile.

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah, but purpose doesn't always have to be punchin' and kickin'."

"Well, that's more Guardian's department, thankfully. Not that I can't defend myself, mind you, but it's a part of Guardian's directive."

[Will Stanton]

"Oh, naturally. I'm somewhat familiar with compartmentalized aspects of the self."

"Delegation is a helpful skill to have, isn't it? Excuse me," She taps the side of her headset, "Yes, Caretaker, I hear you. I'm speaking with Will right now. He would like to visit Intercept later to confirm her status. Do you think the two of you will be done with the plans to attach Lippincott's lab to the network soon? Excellent news. Clarion out." She does something on one of the tablets. "They're almost done with one of the big projects, so you're free to visit anytime you like."
