[Social] Room 103 - Death By Rock And Roll

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza pulled an armload of clothes out of a box and tossed them onto her bed. She idly started sorting through them, putting them away. After a few minutes of that, she turned on some music, glancing out her door and across the common area before reaching over and turning it down a bit.

"It's safe," Sam says from her room, the door open.

"Miriam is out at the moment."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Just not sure when she sleeps and don't want to be 'that' neighbor," Tereza responds, but she turns the music back up.

[Samantha McManus]

"Going to be hard enough for her with the three of us here, I guess."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Could be worse I suppose. She could still be rooming with Haley. I know they didn't get along at all."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm surprised I got along with her as well as I did, but I guess we came to an understanding."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"That helps, I suppose. I honestly wasn't expecting to be rooming with you again. All I originally asked for was to put Vivienne in my room."

[Samantha McManus]

"Rooming with Miriam's not that bad, aside from the sudden outbreaks of gothic decor."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I think I can be okay with that," Tereza says, putting some of the clothes away, "So long long as she can deal with occasionally outbreaks of fuzziness."

[Samantha McManus]

"I think between the lot of us we're effectively the Halloween suite."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Speaking of dressing up, Viv got an invite from the Raven's Crest. So looks like we might be going to the club at some point."

[Samantha McManus]

"That so? I suppose they must have cleaned up since our last visit."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Maybe," Tereza says, "The note says she wanted to consult with Vivienne about something and gave her a VIP card. So I'm just assuming club attendance is involved."

[Samantha McManus]

"They did say we had an open invitation."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm fairly certain she doesn't *like* me, but that may be because I don't have anything to offer her."

[Samantha McManus]

"She seems to have history with werewolves," she shrugs.

"You taking Viv shopping, or are we asking Will if he feels like being a dress for awhile?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I promised to take her shopping since she helped me with the car repairs," Tereza says, "You're welcome to come as well, if you like."

[Samantha McManus]

"I might have a somewhat active interest in seeing Viv try on clubwear."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You and everyone else," Tereza jokes.

[Samantha McManus]

"We're not taking everyone else," she chuckles.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Of course not, but I'll have to find something good to wear so I don't feel like entourage behind the Morrigan and the formerly-fey princess."

[Samantha McManus]

"I could always wear less. Seems popular with that crowd."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You'd have to get inside with the war paint on, love, and I don't think that would pass muster on the street."

[Will Stanton]

"That's why they invented overcoats. And coat check rooms. And secret underground nightclubs, for that matter."

A Will, wearing dark shades and something long, flowing and red, stepped her way out of the mirror.

"This one's not so secret, but perhaps a bit holy after our last visit."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Sam graced it with quite the presence the last time we went."

[Will Stanton]

"Then I'm fairly sure you get to set the dress codes," Will said, with a wry smirk. "It's Yours, after all, no matter what the paperwork might say."

[Samantha McManus]

"Another night, maybe. It'd distract from whatever she needs Viv for."

[Will Stanton]

"Is she expected in her, erm, official capacity?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"She's consulting, so more of an expert opinion maybe?" Tereza shrugs.

[Will Stanton]

"So, what you want is something that flashes importance and prominence without rubbing it in anyone's face, hrm?" Will said, tapping her lower lip as she walked a small circle around the room.

"Assuming you're going off the rack, you want to avoid Chic, unless you want Viv to look like a grandmother before her time. No, you might have better luck at Ruby and Rose, at least on a budget. But if you don't mind a hit to your pocketbook, and don't mind going a bit off the beaten path, you want to trek out to Heybridge and find L's," she said, putting extra emphasis on the letter. "Little pricier, of course, but still local, and she'll make Viv look twice as good as it costs. Mutant friendly, too, if this universe is anything like mine; I worked there for a summer job for a while, as L -- the original L, I should say -- worked her magic. This is all assuming a trip to London is out of both budget and time, of course," she added, almost as an afterthought. This was certainly talkier and more fashion conscious than usual slacks-and-sweater Will would normally be, but then, how often was she walking around in a red dress?

"Not great for casual looks, but I'm sure you know all the great places for t-shirts and ripped jeans," she teased. "Assuming that's what passes for 'casual' when the three of you are together. Fae is still standing, yes?," she added, peering over the top of her sunglasses, eyes sparkling. "No one was too scandalized by the three of you reuniting?"


"Of course, if you want something custom for just the night, I'm sure I could find a friend or two willing to help out, as always," she added, as an afterthought. "But everything has its time and its place."

"We could try L's. I certainly wouldn't say no to some Will-design though. More money to spend on Vivienne that way."

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah. I'd promise our socialist paradise was just around the corner, but the future I'm from isn't that progressive yet. And I somehow doubt bewitching nightclub wear would be considered a public good, though for the life of me I can not figure out why," she laughed.

"Whichever of the three of you are comfortable, you're more than welcome to raid my wardrobe whenever you need to. Goodness knows, some of them won't mind," she added, with a slight, dismissive roll of the eyes.


"The Raven's Crest, was it? I can't say I've had the pleasure."

"Nice place. Sort of run by my... ex?"

[Will Stanton]

"Oh. Then I definitely get why it's important for your girlfriends to knock her socks off."

[Samantha McManus]

"History, aye? In this case of the ancient variety."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"She's like an ancient witch or something, right?"

[Samantha McManus]

"And apparently one of my early priestesses."

[Will Stanton]

"Someone with that deep a connection can be... clingy, I am sure," Will smirked. "I hope you and she parted on good terms?"

"We parted on a series of bargains between my incarnations and her not to take her if she stood to die."
