[Relationship] Room 103 - Drowning on dry land.

After she manages to get free from the cleanup and rescue effort, Sam makes her way back to the dorms to check on however many girlfriends she could manage to locate. She's cleaned up and dressed again, albeit in her workout clothes.

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza is in the main area, having spread her jacket out and is slowly cleaning it. She glances up, "Hey. You doing okay?"

[Samantha McManus]

"Funny, I was going to ask you the same thing. I'll live."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I wasn't the one who got blasted," Tereza points out, "But I'm doing fine"

[Samantha McManus]

"Things got... weird, for a bit there," she admits.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You split again."

[Samantha McManus]

"...aye. It was like... being forced through a prism?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You feel... different," Tereza says, focusing back on her cleaning. "I'm not sure exactly how."

[Samantha McManus]

"I was... I'm not sure I was the Morrigan for a bit there. Then the gun blew up and I just... I'm not sure what I did, but I pushed."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"It's still different. The connection is still there, but it's... different."

[Samantha McManus]

"Hard to put words to it, then?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Frequently is when it comes to you, but especially so at the moment." She picks up the jacket and scrutinizes it.

[Samantha McManus]

"Just what I need, to be more of a mystery to my girlfriend."

"It doesn't feel... bad, does it?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Just different for now, I don't know enough to make a value judgment." She stands and hangs the jacket on her door.

[Samantha McManus]

"Well I'd trust you if you said something was wrong, aye?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Of course. But I don't want to knee jerk and say 'bad' just because it's different."

[Samantha McManus]

"Found Viv, I assume? How's she holding up?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"She's okay. Taking some quiet time walking in the woods. I'll probably go find her later."

[Samantha McManus]

"It's funny, I was actually thinking of doing something romantic for her, before all this."

"I guess it'd overwhelm her, right now."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Might still be a good idea. She's looking for those connections again and putting them off may be... well that might be bad."

[Samantha McManus]

"She does tend to... retreat sometimes, doesn't she?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"May be lingering bits of the fey in her, but some of her upbringing hurt her. The Grey Lords were not kind. Connections are hard for her, I think, because she's used to people using them against her."

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye well, things are biting me in the arse from lifetimes I haven't lived, so there's some sympathy from me there."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"So what did you want to do for her?"

[Samantha McManus]

"I was kind of brainstorming on a... quest?"

"There might have been food and/or kisses at the end."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"All things I think she would appreciate," Tereza says with a smile.

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm hoping so," she nods.

"Just kind of... coming to the realization that I'm not as close to her as you are. That's on me as much as anything, so I think I should make an effort to relate to her more on her terms than mine."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm all for helping you on that. What do you need?"

[Samantha McManus]

"I was thinking of it kind of like a scavenger hunt thing, but instead of giving a list at the start, each thing has the clue to the next one?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"She'd probably like that," Tereza says with a nod, going to her room and fishing out her keys, "You can take the car out if you need to go get stuff."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'll see what I can manage without, first. Wouldn't want to put a scratch on your baby," she chuckles.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Fair enough," she says, tossing the keys onto a table in the main room. "It's there if you need it."
