[Relationship] A Short Walk of Shame

[Will Stanton]

"Your nose is growing," Will deadpanned.

[Miriam Bell]

"So what if it did. It doesn't matter. I have no interest in getting involved in that whole mess."

[Will Stanton]

"Mmhmm," the puppet nodded. "Don't worry. I believe you."

Miriam did not need to look to know the nose was growing.

[Miriam Bell]

Miriam rolls her eyes. "Any feelings for Samantha aside, I do not care one bit for wet dog smell and I'm not going to delude myself into thinking they're not some kind of package deal."

[Will Stanton]

"Ah, and that's why you're not concerned with how she feels about last night. Got it. Very clear."

[Miriam Bell]

"That's it, you're going back in the mirror. It's too early for this." she says, picking Will up by the scruff and pushing the puppet against the mirror.

[Will Stanton]

It was easy enough to sling Will into the mirror, the surface rippling as she tossed the puppet away.

Just before she vanished in, Miriam would get the distinct feeling of smugness -- an intended distraction to get Miriam's mind out of a worry-loop. Little brat.

"Yes, you're very clever. Go pat yourself on the back." she snarks but with the hint of a disgruntled smile.
