[Plot] Okay Campers, Rise and Shine

[Will Stanton]

"Nailah's missing?" Will said, furrowing her brow. "She's got bullshit future-vision powers; maybe that's connected."

[Miriam Bell]

"I don't know about missing, but she's not on campus, I don't think. I have yet to be bored enough to try and chase any of those people down beyond Maldon."

[Samantha McManus]

"Anyone we intend to find would have to be within a day's travel of campus, logically."

[Will Stanton]

"That doesn't exactly narrow it down much, and it's just a hunch at this point in time," Will frowned.

[Miriam Bell]

"You can get pretty far in a day if you don't care about the methods."

"But going by the entirety of the last year, odds are that whatever this is has something to do with the school. Plus that's one thing the tech crew was able to tell me before, there are more chrono-whatever's here than in Maldon or Chelmsford even if there was no pin-pointing it."

[Samantha McManus]

"There was... ah... that one time."

"When we all... died."

[Miriam Bell]

"How could you possibly remember th--oh you mean the time the Point exploded and then unexploded!"

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye. That was the first time I saw the sparks."

[Will Stanton]

Will caught Miriam's slip-up, don't think she didn't! But she let it slide.

"I don't suppose they were able to, like, create a map? Of where the chrono-whatevers were located?"

[Miriam Bell]

"They said it doesn't work like that and then started rambling about field strength and dispersed something or other. We can go ask them again if you want an answer that makes about as much sense but takes ten times longer, but the short of it is that they could tell something weird was happening with time around here. Ish. Tosh was annoyingly dorky about the whole thing and Minamida low key freaked out about not having a potential solution, so I haven't really bothered them again with this. If this day is all I have then I'm not going to spend it with those two."

[Samantha McManus]

"Don't suppose I've spent a day in the tank yet, have I?"

[Miriam Bell]

"No. I know you brought it up before and I... did ask you to." she starts, sounding confused and looking off to the side as if she's trying to remember something. "That was ages ago, why didn't we end up doing that? We went down to the Point, I'm pretty sure... That was before I ever bothered the Geek Squad about this, but you... never actually went in. I'm not sure why."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, that's a confusing response if I've ever heard one. Sounds like we have some steps to retrace."

[Samantha McManus]

"Sounds bloody suspicious, to me."

[Miriam Bell]

"It was a while ago and these days all blur together after a while but... you're not wrong. This is strange. I could swear I remember watching you climb into that tank but it's... vague, like I dreamt it. And I definitely don't remember what came of it."

[Will Stanton]

"Right. Get your hats, we're going to the point," Will nodded, decisively...before pivoting and going back into the mirror, being immediately replaced by a Will in a casual green plaid vest and slacks. And a flat cap. Because hat. Now properly dressed and changed for a mystery, Will headed for the door.
