"Eww. You're a telepath, you're supposed to be better at metaphors than that." she says with a faint smile that shows she had to at least fight the urge to laugh a little bit.

"Just because you don't like the metaphors doesn't make them wrong," she smirks back.

"Pretty sure that's exactly what my power let's me do if I feel strong enough about it." she smirks.

"It hasn't started raining sauteed mushrooms so I must be doing something right.

"I have some semblance of control. Do not tempt me or you can explain to the rest of the dorms why the whole room faintly smells of Portobello."
