I2DT: Girls, The Final Frontier

On Tuesday night, Tosh anxiously waited in his room for Haley to arrive. He had showered, shaven, ordered pizza, and chosen several movie options of varying degrees of nerdiness despite his efforts to anticipate what she might like. He was as prepared as he knew how to be for a room-date or whatever this was.

Haley arrived on time, phone in hand, wearing jeans and a simple black graphic tee with swirls of color on it. When Tosh opened the doors after her knock, he'd find her mid-duckface and taking a selfie.

Tosh opened the door and immediately jumped back slightly from the unexpected duckface.

He composed himself and smiled, "Hey."

Haley broke into a wide grin, then immediately leaned in, kissed him on the cheek with an exaggerated pucker, and snapped a reaction selfie of the both of them.

"Hiya cutie. What's up?"

And we may not, like, actually eat or watch anything.

Haley walked into the room and set her small purse down on Tosh's desk, her phone not leaving her hand. "It always this clean in here, or only when you're expecting company?" she giggled, looking around.

"I'm just clean I guess..." he shrugged, only partially lying.

"I wasn't sure what kind of movies you liked so I put a variety in my queue, and I got three different kinds of pizza. Bottomless pit, remember?" he grinned.

Among the expected geek memorabilia is the poster of a brown-haired half-Asian surfer with an autograph reading: "Shogo Gunderson: This is me totally stealth autographing your poster bro."

"You turn into a giant shark thing. I'm not sure what my excuse is," she giggled.

"Can you surf?" she asked, looking at the poster with interest while she started in on one of the pizza boxes, popping open the lid, grabbing a slice, and tearing into it without even bothering to grab a plate.

No manners at all. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

She took a seat on the edge of what she gathered from subconsciously skimming his surface thoughts to be Tosh's bed. "Whatcha got to drink?"
