Room 106: Tech, Teeth and Eyes

[Nash Riley]

Nash was slouched over at his desk in front of his laptop. He was currently sifting through a pile of papers that were over to the side. Occasionally he would type on the keyboard or use the track pad and its buttons, all without ever glancing over to the computer.

[Toshiro Narumi]

Tosh opened the door and came in.

"Working hard or hardly working?"

[Nash Riley]

“Somewhere in between.” Nash said as he used the laptops trackpad and buttons without looking at the screen.

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Something for Hypertech?"

[Nash Riley]

“I guess I could use it to get used to the lab, maybe even for other things too."

He finally looked up from the papers, and over towards Tosh.

"What I'm actually trying to do, is upgrade some of my equipment since we have access to better tools and materials.”

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Maybe I should actually build some," he said, "I wonder if have we access to the unstable molecule material."

[Nash Riley]

“No idea, I didn't think to check. They make the suits for people so it shouldn't be too hard to get.”

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Sharkarangs, yes or no?" he joked.

[Nash Riley]

"Just let me know when you are going to use them... so I can be far far away."

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Meh... it'd probably end up in my eye anyway."

[Nash Riley]

"Do you have any serious ideas in mind of what you'd make?"

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Scanning and diagnostic tools mostly. I have to find some way to be useful or just not be a liability when shifting isn't an option."

[Nash Riley]

“That sounds good. Made any headway or is it just an idea so far?”

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Idea. Minamida asked me to work on something for her, so I'm focusing on that at the moment."

[Nash Riley]

"Work on what?" Nash sounds surprised.

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Just some coding," he answered.

[Nash Riley]

"Thought she'd be able to do that herself, but maybe she's too busy running the school and all."

[Toshiro Narumi]

"I wondered too but, yeah, that's probably why."

[Nash Riley]

"I'm trying to make a revised VAMBRACE, one that isn't clunky and is more than barely useful."

Tosh could probably remember at least some about the original, a bulky thing made from an old cellphone. While most of its functions worked, none worked all that well. Eventually Nash had given up and just quit using it.

[Toshiro Narumi]

He snorted. "Definitely needs a design upgrade too."

Gotta work on that laugh bro. Seriously.

[Nash Riley]

“It's getting that for sure. It will be complete redesign built up from basic parts.”

[Toshiro Narumi]

"Any new functions in mind?"

[Nash Riley]

“I've been trying to think of other functions, but I'm not sure what I'll add. After seeing mask girl in tryouts I totally want a grappling hook, but that probably will need to go on the other arm.”

[Toshiro Narumi]

"You're just jealous you didn't think of being Batman first," he smirked.

[Nash Riley]

"Why would I want to be Batman. All the brooding and hanging around on roof tops at night just isn't for me."

[Toshiro Narumi]

"No Batman, no grappling hook. Superhero Union rules."

[Nash Riley]

"Stupid rules." He shakes his fist in mock anger.
