Wanda timidly knocks on Miriam's door. She was still deeply out of sorts and the conversation with Sam hadn't made that any better. She could see the can of worms she was about to open, but Sam was right.

"Yeah...?" Miriam's voice is already hesitant. She's polite enough to not pry into Wanda's mind, but she can still sense the trepidation.

Wanda opens the door and pokes her head in, "Are you busy? I can come back if you are."

"No, it's alright, come in. Something the matter?" she asks, although it's mostly rhetorical.

To her credit, Wanda seems to realize that it's rhetorical, "I... have a problem." She sits on Miriam's bed, "I was out at the club the other night and... well... I don't remember how I got back to the dorms."

"That's... not good." she says and even if she's not broadcasting it Wanda can feel a sense of guilt coming from Miriam. "Do you think..."

"No, no," Wanda says, despite knowing she doesn't remember. "No hangover or anything like that, so I don't think someone slipped me something." She takes a deep breath, "Sam ran into me a little bit ago and says she felt something off around me. Not me, but something I'd come in contact with."

Miriam frowns. Not even so much because of the mention of Sam (although that doesn't help) but because she's wondering if this was not something she did when her telepathy got a little out of control at Norma's grave...

"Are you sure it's something that happened that night?" she asks carefully

Wanda seems to catch on and she moves over to Miriam, placing a hand on her cheek, "Was what happened in Newcastle. We took care of it."

There's no missing *that* tone, so Wanda speaks carefully, "She says I've come in contact with something that should be dead and isn't. And I'm not sure she's wrong. Something's wrong around here. I can feel it."

"Look there's... a lot of weird stuff that happens, but Sam has a very... unique way of interpreting all of that. As someone who's a little nuts herself, let me tell you that she's kind of crazy."

"We're all a bit mad here, aren't we?" Wanda's obviously trying to blow it off, pacing a little. "It's... I'm not imagining this. I've felt stuff like this before. I'm not sure what Sam's talking about, honestly, but I can't discount them either."
