"Yeah, I'd noticed," he sighed, collapsing onto a chair.

[Shari]

"Shit happens. Just don't hurt her more or I'll have to sock you one."

[Will Stanton]

"Why would I hurt her more? What makes you think I would do that?"

[Shari]

"Maybe not intentionally but you did it once by being kinda oblivious. Just saying."

[Will Stanton]

"Look, I'm not sure how you can blame me for this. I'll make it right, but this is so not my fault."

[Shari]

"You took the nerdy girl on a date without realizing it! Come on, you bloker. Bloke? Blokest?"

[Will Stanton]

"...Is that even English you're trying to speak, there?"

[Shari]

"Hey that's the most English of them all! British mucky-muck."

[Will Stanton]

"I'm pretty sure "bloker" isn't a word, and even if it was, you can't conjugate it like that," Will said, trying to change the subject.

[Shari]

"Don't try to grammar your way out of this."

[Will Stanton]

"Words matter! Words are important! Like, this whole thing was a result of the wrong words being used."

[Shari]

"Okay, fine. Just don't do one of those 'it wasn't really my fault' apologies, okay?"

[Will Stanton]

"I don't think it's anyone's fault; it's more just clarification needed," he clarified.

[Shari]

"See that right there? Don't do that. It might be true but it'll only upset her more."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, I'm not going to lie to her. It was a miscommunication, and we just have to clear it up. No one's at fault."

[Shari]

"Well, you heard me. If you hurt her feelings again trying to apologize bang, boom, straight to Arcturus Four's moon." she says, shaking a fist that is quickly growing to be comically large.

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah, I'll file that right in my 'things that are never going to happen' box."

[Shari]

"Good."
