Natalie knocks on the door, dressed up in a nice black dress and possibly wearing a little bit of make-up, though it's so little that it might be hard to tell. She takes a deep breath and smooths everything out as if trying to make sure everything is perfect.

"What is upppp?" Shari asks as she pops open the door. "Oh hey, Nat! How's it... is that make-up?" she asks, leaning in way too close without even giving her a chance to really respond.

The make-up becomes a bit more obvious as her skin turns red with embarrassment. "Umm... Maybe? Hi, Shari. Is Will here?"

"Just running a little behind," Will said, coming up from behind in the hallway. "Busy day and all, don't mind me one little bit."

He was just in slacks and a t-shirt; nothing too fancy -- the sort of stuff he'd wear to class because, uh, he wore it to class.

"Well, he is now, depriving me of a game of Guess That Shapeshifter." she says, turning her hair green out of principle. "Or did he..." she adds, looking intentionally shifty.

As soon as Natalie hears Will's voice, she pushes some hair behind her ear self-consciously. Then she looks at Shari, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're Shari."

"I suppose you can never be too careful around here," Will chuckled. "Very few ways to tell the shifters apart, if they chose to be annoying. You'd have to pretty carefully inspect for flaws."

"Oh, I bet!" Shari laughs once she catches on to what's going on here. "Gotta be very thorough though." she adds with a wink at Natalie before looking over at Will.

The joke went over Will's head.

"Well, really, different shifters have their own unique fingerprints; it just takes some time to find them. Skrulls, for example, are just really bad at things -- ask them to get too big or too small, and they have difficulty performing."

The wink flusters Natalie further and she chooses to focus on Will which seems to make it worse. "I... noticed."

Shari frowns a little. She doesn't think Will meant it as an insult, but it still touches bit of a sore spot.

"I have no idea what happened. Food hadn't even come yet and she just stormed out, saying everything was a mistake. I'm clueless."
