Four hours after the encounter in the showers Vivienne was standing at Sam and Tereza's door. She took a deep breath and allowed her flesh to change before knocking.

Sam gets up from her studying and frowns as she feels who it is on the other side of the door.

Opening it, she regards their visitor.

"...Vivienne."

"May I come in?"

"I don't know, can we keep this civil?"

"I can and always have been."

"...then I suppose I can do the same," she says, stepping aside to let Viv in.

She stepped in and took a step tot the side allowing Sam to close the door if she chose to, but she ventured no further in.

"I ran into Tereza in the showers and I've once again failed to make her understand that I did not leave of my own accord. With the events of last night I though perhaps you would be able to understand and help her to understand. While having her choose you galls me to no end, what hurts most is that she believes I abandoned her."

"She... took it pretty hard when you left, you know."

"She asked to come. I couldn't bring her...for many reasons. I didn't want to leave her any more then you would want to. She thinks I chose to not ask for help. As if she were the paragon of never taking on trouble alone." She was pacing.

"I couldn't ask for help. I couldn't go to anyone of power. They bound and gagged me. The only freedom I had was with her, when I was my most human, even then they still had a hold of me and pulled me away. I thought surely now she would understand, being bound to the moon as she is, but no, she is so bloody stubborn."

"Well I mean... you hurt her. You may not have meant to, but that's what happened."

"I mean what did you think was going to happen?"

"I thought she understood how I felt about her. I thought she knew how much I needed and wanted her. I though she had faith in me to know that I would've never just up and leave her of my own free will. I thought she would speak for me. I thought someone would come for me. No one did. Then I came across her as a wolf, I was so happy and so ashamed with myself for doubting her. I thought that she had finally come for me. That the reason she didn't come sooner was the curse delayed her. I was wrong."

"You didn't tell her anything. I don't know if you've noticed, but she's got abandonment issues that are visible from outer space."

"There is nothing more I can say, is there? She is convinced I abandoned her and you are convinced that I never cared for her in the first place."

"No, I'm trying to help you understand how she feels about this shite."

"Bloody hell, I'm the one who told her to make a move on you in the first place."

"For now, it is, because I need your help. I need to find my mother and when I do I will need you to keep me from returning to them with her. When Tereza is less...pointy, I will apologize properly to her."

"If one was to get technical, I do not actually need you to find her. I have no doubt I will eventually locate her, but assistance is welcome. For the latter, yes, I need you, either you as Sam the telepath or Sam the Morrigan."

Vivienne gave a soft sad chuckle. "Of course."

"Your presence one way or another will give me time to say goodbye."

"I am sure you do. Be careful with deals, especially fey deals. There is a reason the Morrigan has so many names."

"She isn't a fairy. She's just someone who wants very badly to keep living."

Vivienne smiled, honestly smiled. "You really need to brush up on your fey knowledge. Besides, all magical deal are risky and if someone is depraved enough, they will do anything to get what they want regardless of the harm or cost. Usually, the extending of one life beyond it's time requires the premature ending of another."

"And so she wants me... not to take her."

"I see. She believes you to be the true Morrigan and you still have yet you decide if you believe it to be so. Giving your word is either pointless or binding."

"Only you can decide of your word is worthless to her because you're just a girl or is full of the power because you are a Goddess. Also, she still could be insane, but that doesn't mean she isn't correct."
