Room 116: Freedom of speech

Built on the Braddock Estate not far from the Manor, these were constructed for the university's benefit to help house the student population.

Room 116: Freedom of speech

Postby Vivienne Chinnoir » Fri Apr 21, 2017 8:51 pm

Four hours after the encounter in the showers Vivienne was standing at Sam and Tereza's door. She took a deep breath and allowed her flesh to change before knocking.

Sam gets up from her studying and frowns as she feels who it is on the other side of the door.

Opening it, she regards their visitor.

"...Vivienne."

She stepped in and took a step tot the side allowing Sam to close the door if she chose to, but she ventured no further in.

"I ran into Tereza in the showers and I've once again failed to make her understand that I did not leave of my own accord. With the events of last night I though perhaps you would be able to understand and help her to understand. While having her choose you galls me to no end, what hurts most is that she believes I abandoned her."

"She asked to come. I couldn't bring her...for many reasons. I didn't want to leave her any more then you would want to. She thinks I chose to not ask for help. As if she were the paragon of never taking on trouble alone." She was pacing.

"I couldn't ask for help. I couldn't go to anyone of power. They bound and gagged me. The only freedom I had was with her, when I was my most human, even then they still had a hold of me and pulled me away. I thought surely now she would understand, being bound to the moon as she is, but no, she is so bloody stubborn."

"I thought she understood how I felt about her. I thought she knew how much I needed and wanted her. I though she had faith in me to know that I would've never just up and leave her of my own free will. I thought she would speak for me. I thought someone would come for me. No one did. Then I came across her as a wolf, I was so happy and so ashamed with myself for doubting her. I thought that she had finally come for me. That the reason she didn't come sooner was the curse delayed her. I was wrong."

Vivienne smiled, honestly smiled. "You really need to brush up on your fey knowledge. Besides, all magical deal are risky and if someone is depraved enough, they will do anything to get what they want regardless of the harm or cost. Usually, the extending of one life beyond it's time requires the premature ending of another."
