Basil went into a giggle fit, turning visible again and dabbing his eyes a bit with his hand.

"Alright fine, you win. I can't do that." He sighed contentedly.

Then he started inspecting the back of his hand.

Bein' either or and you don't know when? Thas a liability in th'makin' mate. What if I need t'be invisible? 'Round these parts it's kinda helpful. What if when I was standin' in th'corner'a th'room in m'birthdays with Colette's sheers b'hind m'back, I just randomly became visible and th'aliens saw me starky? That's real bleedin' threatenin'."

Basil was already on the phone getting an Uber driver for them, and that took all of his concentration, so he did not explain to Diego what he meant.
