"Of course not. It's just something I found hard to conceptualize for a while. Gender seems like a very arbitrary designation when you technically don't have one and by that extension sexuality can be very confusing. It sounds like you're doing alright on your own though." she smiles.

"Well, yes. Shifting can be a very hands-on-process. To get this form," she said, pointing down, "I had to have Alex physically manipulate things. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable if she has to do that, too."

"That's surprisingly considerate of Alex, but I believe in most cases you'll find people being hesitant about that kind of thing. People have a very strong sense of privacy and intimacy when it comes to those kind of interactions."
