DT1 - License and Registration, Please

Previously the lodgings of the late Lady Braddock, the Dower House fell into disuse for a number of years, particularly after Braddock Manor passed to Brian himself. Since the arrival of the University, it has been renovated into an administrative building as well as faculty and staff housing on the second floor.

"That's true. I also have a lot more time than most people though." she says as she makes her way back towards the University. The roads in and around Maldon don't lend themselves to extreme speed and Ashlie seems to adhere to speed limits anyway so Will's upper speed-limit will have to remain untested for now.

"Excellent. I'll just shift back, then."

And everything was fine...right?

Except...

Will gave a grunt of...pain? surprise? distress? as the car shrunk back down to Will-size and shape, with a loud burst of air going through his lips.

The first obvious sign that something wrong was Will's skin. It was now colored a matte-green, from the top of his head down to his toes, presumably. In bits and places, emerging from his skin, were shiny pieces of chrome, glistening and newly polished. The chrome was shaped to Will's body, running down his arms and legs in a very stylized manner, with bits curling up as highlights on his face.

"..gaaa!" Will shouted, his voice deeper and roaring.

"I don't....this is....this is wrong. This has never happened before," he said, concerned as he finished getting to his feet.

"Yes? Attention, I guess? Would be good?" he said, running his fingers down the exposed chrome sticking out from his training uniform, and almost jerking back at the touch.

If Ashlie had a pressing desire to prowl the streets in a catsuit, she at least knew a guy.

The suit showed no chrome or anything on it--it felt like fabric, at least.

After putting him down, and watching him grunt and moan back into his humanoid, still-chromed form, Will tried, in order, a shoe, a 1980s-era PacMan cabinet, and finally rested as a couch.

No automotive signs were present on any of them.
