"I don't wanna lay dooowwwn. I wanna go out." Then he started singing well, but acting obnoxious. He would continue singing, getting louder once they got outdoors, until they managed to catch up to their friends.

"It came in a needle and I don't think they let you take those with you?" All of his speech was very deliberate, more so than usual. He often paused to think of what he wanted to say, but now it was more like he was pausing to recall the words themselves.
"OI Colette!" he called out as if she was not basically under his arm.
