Xaviers!

Tereza was currently sedated to within an inch of consciousness and restrained to a bed designed to handle super-strong individuals. Coming to from her ride on the Void-Tilt-A-Whirl had been unpleasant for the staff and they'd decided to take no more chances, especially after the wolf had snapped her jaws at someone. She was human again, one arm braced to keep her from moving it while it regenerated. She looks down idly at the restraints, not happy with them but unable to muster the ability to care enough to do anything about them.

Will sat there at the foot of the bed, fingers steepled, as he observed Tereza's recovery.

On the bed next to Tereza, there was a ruckus starting. “Give me the fucking Tylenol 3 and leave so I can get out of here and find those assholes you stupid bitch, or I’ll make you think you’re a chimpanzee!” Haley snapped at a nurse who was currently lecturing her about being patient and taking it easy until they ruled out a concussion.

It takes Tereza a bit to realize he's there. She finally looks up and looks at him, "What are you lookin' at?" Her words are a little 'soft' due to the sedation, but she still seems to be assessing him in return.

"A hurt puppy.

They patch you up nice?"

"Not a puppy and no." She looks down at the brace on her arm. "Hurts... healing."

"We're going to get the bastards who did this to you. That's a promise."

"Knew one. Not the others. Said they were Brotherhood."

"Any idea where they might be hiding out?"

"Some shithole, probably," she says, "That's... that's where we hid out most times."

“I’ll fucking crush that shithole hideout into a three foot cube and give them a god damned taste of their own medicine,” Haley spat, eavesdropping on her neighbor and finally being offered a plastic cup of pills and a larger one filled with water by the exasperated nurse.

"This is Maldon, in your universe. 'Some shithole' doesn't really narrow it down,"

"Calm down," Tereza growls at Haley, irritation breaking through the sedation haze. She turns her attention back to Will. "Probably some place low rent or abandoned. Some place where people mind their own business."

Haley fumed quietly, but being growled at by a werewolf even in human form tends to shut quite a few people up. She popped the pills in her mouth with a drink of water and threw her head back more violently than she intended which provoked an immediate wince from Haley and a barely-suppressed satisfied smirk from the nurse whom she'd been being a pain in the ass to.

She leaned back with a defeated huff and crossed her arms across her chest (which provoked another wince thanks to her cracked ribs) and listened to Will and Tereza.

There's a bit of a commotion out in the hallways of the medical building. It doesn't sound like a fight, but quite a few people seem to have decided suddenly they need to be almost anywhere else.

Haley and possibly Tereza too can feel something approaching, which by turns gives the impression of a roiling stormcloud and an angry flock of black birds.

"Phantom queen? More like drama queen," Will muttered, under his breath.

Tereza's beast responds to the roiling anger, fingernails trying to sharpen and change trying to take before a machine hisses and another dose of sedative gets pushed into her system, causing her eyes to get a far away look.

Haley closed her eyes at the “noise” of the flock and grumbled a bit. ”Sam, coming in that loud and pissed off is going to make my head feel worse and your girlfriend get wolfy.”

"Mmm. That's probably my cue to get up and go," Will said, dusting himself off as he stood up.

"I'll take care of this Tereza, don't worry," he said, glancing over at the lump of clay sitting in a bed to one side. "You have my word."

Tereza looks at him, not really focusing on him, "Okay... Be careful."

Haley can feel the flock drawn back into Sam fitfully as her presence approaches, but the anger is still there, barely restrained.

Sam stalks into the room, wild-haired and wild-eyed.

"...I swear, one of these days they'll just bloody let me when I say I need in," she grumbles.

"Just go around them next time; they're not going to stop you," Will called, on his way out.

Tereza's gaze travels towards the ceiling and Sam can sense just how loopy she is right now. The wolf's trying to be alert and listening to her, but the body's unable to follow.

"I came as soon as I could, love. We're going to hurt the bastards that did this to you," Sam says as she makes her way over to Tereza's bed.

"...I'm not sure they really know the proper dosage levels for a werewolf," she sighs as she sees how out of it Tereza is.

"Wasn't in control. No choice," she says, looking down at her arm. "Still hurts," she complains.

"Keep your strength up. You need food to be able to heal, aye?"

She thinks about that for longer than she should, "Should just heal... then be hungry. Not the other way round." Her hand tries to move to poke at the braced arm, but the restraints keep it in place and she frowns.

"It might be overtaxing your system. I don't know all they did to you."

"Suppose I'll have to kick it out of them..."

"Kicked me... hard," she says, the sense of the sedative starting to thin a little.

"...well then it's only fair that I return the favor, isn't it?" She replies with a grim smirk.

Tereza tries to shake her head a bit, "They're... dangerous. Said they're Brotherhood. Not sure though."

The lump of clay on the bed nearby shifted and twisted a little bit, as it began to reform into humanoid shape.

"Gnnna. Bruvverhood. Need to help..." it muttered.

"You're not ready to fight, Will. You need to rest."

"No rest for the wicked," he grunted, trying to sit upright. "No rest no peace no sleep."

"What are you trying to prove, here?"

"Don't need to prove anything...just need to help," he said, sliding out of bed and standing, wobbly, on two legs.

"You're helping nobody if you can barely even stand."

"...alright," Will said, quietly sitting back down.

Tereza looks at Will and then back at Sam. "Let him help, Sam. That's how some people recover."

"I'm not trying to sideline him, but do you see the state he's in?"
