My Aching Head

Built with a generous grant from one of the University's benefactors, this clinic serves as a small teaching hospital as well. More severe injuries are stabilized, then transported to Muir Island. It also houses the University's research laboratories.

My Aching Head

Postby Carlos Vasquez » Mon Nov 16, 2015 7:29 pm

Carlos had been knocked around pretty hard by some concussive force, so he was in the med center for observation--concussions were no laughing matter.

"Ay, dios mio," he grumbled.

“Hello.” Nash said as he entered the room. “How are you feeling?”

He was wearing a set of scrubs complete with a hospital name tag with his name above the words 'Student Assistant'.

"Doesn't look like it. I'd expect more of your brains to be on the outside if that had happened." Nash chuckled.

"That I can do, be right back." He said as he left the room.

He came back in just a few minutes later with some cups and pitcher.

"Want any ice, or just water?"

"Okay." He opened the top of the pitcher and poured from the side letting some ice go in one of the cups. He then closed the top and poured more water into the cup.

"Here you go." He said handing the cup to Carlos.

"We went to rescue one of the X-Team members from a farmhouse. She had been taken captive by some mutants--possibly a splinter arm of the Brotherhood.

I missed some of it, being unconscious, but they were quite the team. Most of them are locked up up at The Point."

He did say something a moment later "So what have you been up to? Besides the fighting villains thing."
