"I've got your back if you've got mine, Tereza."

"No matter what."

"Always," Tereza says with a nod.

"Does this mean I can get you in a dress?"

"Let's not go crazy. I own them, they're just very... specifically purposed."

"Well... I'd let you pick my outfit..."

Her eyes light up, "You do know you're playing with fire here, right?"

"I thought ice was more your thing," she smirks.

"Someone feels safe in her cocoon of injuredness," she grinned toothily.

"I'm sure you'll have a splendid revenge when you're picking my outfit."

"We *might* have to go shopping, but I will peruse your current wardrobe first."

"If we go shopping, I'll make sure you have a good dress," she grins.

"For whose definition of good?"

"Fair's fair, aye? You dress me to your standards, I'll dress you to mine."

She ponders that for a bit, "Alright. Agreed."

"Twist your arm, huh?"

"Twisting my arm so hard," she smirks.

"Seems like someone wished they got to play dress-up more."

"Well, there's dressing up and then there's dressing up," she says, moving to a more lounge-y position in the chair.

"I'll try not to keep you waiting, then. I let them know I was going to try that healing treatment."

"They do good work around here," she says, tapping her arm. "I'm sure whatever it is will get you fixed right up."

"Apparently there's a girl with a healing factor who's donating blood."

"An interesting experiment, but if it helps people, then more power to her."

"Aye, so it'll just be an IV for awhile. They said they'd be bringing it by soon, but you can probably hang out if you want."

"Like I'm letting you out of my sight right now."

"I'm not going to just disappear," she snorts.

"I'm not taking any chances."

"I'm going to have to go to the loo sometime."

"Well, of course there would still have to be some secrets. I'm not some insane stalker."

"I'm just teasing. I'm glad I won't be bored to tears while the IV's in me anyway."

"Bored maybe, but certainly not to tears," she says, fidgeting with her nails.

"I just hate the downtime, aye? It's not that I don't know why I'm here."

"Yeah. Having to be still sucks, especially when you have things you want to go do."

Eventually a nurse knocks on the door and brings in a blood bag on an IV stand. One quick needle-stab later and the transfusion is slowly trickling through the tube and into Sam. It takes a couple of minutes before any noticeable effect sets in but it feels invigorating to say the least. Like a good night's sleep wrapped in a warm cup of coffee while the pain in her shoulder dulls. All the little pains and bruises from spending considerable time in the middle of what could reasonably be called a war just fade away and make Sam aware of just how worn out she'd been overall.

More obviously than Sam visibly relaxing is the fact that her hair suddenly has little specks of blond randomly appearing and slowly spreading like drops of ink on paper.

Tereza eyes the hair color changes, "So you're naturally blond?"

"...what?" Sam asks, slowly rousing from the weariness washing over her.

"No, I'm not. They did say shifters sometimes react weirdly, though."

"Maybe it'll go away once you're all healed," Tereza relaxes more as Sam relaxes.

"Probably? I don't know. Maybe the girl who's donating blood is blonde. I probably shouldn't try shifting until I'm healed, at least."

"Probably a good idea. Blond's not bad, but I prefer red."

"I could make a comment here about you and blondes, but it seems a bit mean."

Tereza shrugs, "I've made my peace with one set of blonds and the other blond I'll deal with in time. Time to try something different."
