"No need to apologize, I've considered that possibility as well. If they did I can only hope they at least did it out of a misguided sense of trying to protect Robert." she says, sounding angry and almsot personally offended for some reason.

[Robert West]

"You think my parents did this?" Rob asks, "I mean...no. They're....no. They wouldn't do something like that."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I don't know your parents, I might be mistaken. I just know that sometimes parents can be overzealous in their attempts to... protect their child."

[Robert West]

"Protect me from what? Me?" Rob asks. He laughs a bit nervously.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"Possibly. They might have also thought they were protecting the rest of the world. Your power has incredible capability to do harm as much as good. To some the fear of the former outweighs the potential benefit of the later."

[Robert West]

Rob shakes his head, "You're wrong. They aren't like that. They're overbearing and controlling and emotionally distant but...I'm not making the best case here, but they're not evil."

[Samantha McManus]

"This... seemed to be about control, Rob."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"One doesn't have to be evil to mean well and do more harm then intended. But I will try not to judge them prematurely."
