"Hey, I'd love to help to cure cancer but I don't feel like duplicating my mutation would be a viable method. The effect on world hunger alone would be devastating."

"Well, yes... but what's your solution?"

"Pym particles. Reduce people's overall mass, they require fewer calories to survive. They need fewer calories, food will last longer. Food lasts longer, shortages stop being an issue."

"Shrink people? What about predatory animals?"

"Well, I don't think they're currently suffering a food shortage."

"They definitely wouldn't be with snack size humans running around."

"Well, you could shrink them, as well."

"That would take a hell of a lot of Pym particles."

"Scale's only an issue of funding."

"Well shrinking the animals would lead to plant overgrowth and shrinking those too would defeat the whole idea."

"Not the farmed food. Keep that normal size, tended by technology."

"It's not an ideal solution from a logistical perspective... but I can admit it's oddly practical."

"And practically odd, or so I'm told."

"You do have that going for you," he chuckled. "Not like I have room to talk with a whole second personality."

"He pretty much drives, yeah. And unlike now, I don't 'talk' to him much when I'm in the backseat. I guess we're more one then."

"Or he really is a foreign entity controlling me like I feared before I got a psychological handle on my powers," he joked.

"Well, that's the point of symbiosis, in the long run. Beneficial to both halves of the equation."
