"People usually think I'm being weird or poetic when I say that. It's nice when someone gets it."

"Which ah... is probably the reason my mind was drawn here. Sorry about that, again."

"It's possible. Telepathy is a far more malleable discipline than those without it give it credit for, especially once the Astral becomes involved in things. The theory is that everything anyone does has some sort of ripple there. The bigger the action, or the stronger the mind touching it, the larger the ripple."

"Potentially. I doubt you did anything permanent though. You have to shape your intent fairly solidly to do that." As she says that, a sword appears on her hip, more broad-bladed than the rapier she was practicing with earlier.

"Fencing is for real world power practice. Swift movements tracking a small thin item. It keeps *me* sharp." She pats the sword on her avatar's hip, "This is to protect me when I'm in the Astral or another person's mind."

"You have to be careful not to pour too much meaning into a symbol. The more meaning you invest it with, the stronger it is, but the more holes you risk putting in it. Sometimes straightforward works best."

"To a certain extent. Symbolism is important in the Astral, but I'm sure your tutors told you that. There's some fine lines to walk when you're dealing with a place where dreams actually come true."
