Going Under

Wanda slid into the pool, pushing off the wall and swimming the length of the pool. It almost looks as if she's attacking the water rather than just swimming through it. She makes two laps before she comes up against the wall again, resting against it and taking a deep breath.

Isolde can almost be felt before she enters, a sullen stormcloud on the edge of Wanda's radar.
The reason why is perhaps evident as she walks in, not having bothered to get changed into a swimsuit. Her eyes are a livid yellow under a heavy brow, and the tips of pointed ears poke through her hair.
"...where is she?"

"Where is who?" Wanda asks, almost pulling Isolde's attention to her.

"Yes, I did. I wanted to talk to her. You have a problem with that?" She raises an eyebrow.

"I have a problem with her hurting you. Again."
"I can't stop you, I just..."
She lets out a growling sigh and slumps into one of the deck chairs by the pool.

"It always going to hurt in some way. There are some pains you can't protect me from." She smiles sadly at Isolde. "I guess I hoped to mend a friendship."
