The tiny fin-headed ferret-man that calls himself Ennio laid curled up on an inflatable raft expertly placed in a ray of sun. His tiny, custom sunglasses glinted in the light.

"...We have a ferrett now?" Will asked, as he entered the pool area.

The ferret sat up. "Yes we do! And yer just the hombre I was about to go lookin for!" he announced boisterously.

"...I was?" Will asked, pointing at himself.

"What did I do?"

"Um...I like to think I'm the former one?

Wait, you're Tosh? I didn't know Tosh could do more than a shark..."

"Partin' gift from the ex," he joked before using a water jet to push the raft to the edge of the pool. "The short answer is my powers weren't exactly what I thought," he explained before disembarking.

"Are...they only supposed to relate to water creatures? And that's why you're in the pool? Some kind of...water ferret?"

"Dunno about future wacky mascots, but water ferret is correctamundo," he answered, generating a ball of water as emphasis and swirling it around himself.

"That's....really neat, there.

You said Tosh had to talk to me?"

He removed the sunglasses and clipped them to the waist of his shifting shorts. "Here's The Kid then," he said before literally growing up.

"So... uhh... I-you know what? This feels silly shirtless. Let's talk in the locker room."

In the locker room...

Tosh quickly got dressed and, as he pulled on his Star Wars t-shirt, said "As I was saying... I feel like I owe you an apology for being in my own little world while you've been going through your separate selves issue."

"What? No no no no. It's all ok, Tosh. You've been dealing with your own identity issues "

"Not really. My sense of self may be a little fractured, but other than the few days I let Bruce take over I can't say I've suffered for it."

"I'm very glad to hear that. Identity issues aren't fun."

"Still, I'm sorry I haven't been there."

"Hey, we've all got our own problems. Don't worry about it, Tosh."

"I'll try not to."

"So... Congratulations on winning that ridiculous fight. I was rooting for you."

"Thank you, though I don't feel I did very much," Will demured.

"You... inspired your team?"

Will had to laugh at that.

"Oh my, no. They have that innate teamwork thing going on. If anything, the other guy is the inspirational one -- you've seen him in action. He's a take-charge kinda guy."

"Too bad he's a terrible leader who doesn't know the meaning of restraint."

"You want to tell him that?" Will smiled.

"I will if I have to."

"Well, be careful if you do. If he's as mean as you think, you might not like his response."

"I said he was too impulsive, not mean. Though he's definitely not a beacon of kindness."

"He has....different priorities," Will said, diplomatically.

"I'm sure he does. He's basically your Id in a far greater way than Bruce is mine."

"I mean, he's not me. I think that's important to remember."

"He was part of you though, wasn't he?"

"Not a part of me I'd particularly like to remember, if I'm honest."

"You don't feel at all... incomplete?" he asked.

"No, I really don't. I'm ok, Tosh; you n don't need to worry about me."

"Okay, okay, I'll stop," he said with a weak chuckle.

"So... new subject?"

"When did you become some sort of ferret?"

"After Haley accidentally teep-roasted my brain. She triggered my powers to... level up, I suppose."

"Trial by fire, huh? Nasty sounding. Are you doing alright?"

"I'm doing good. It was a bit rough with what Steph was going through, but that's thankfully been cured."

"Well, I'm glad to hear everyone's back on their feet. That's what's most important."

"Yeah. Though Ennio... that's ferret me... is annoyed that he couldn't help."

"What do you mean? Help with me?"
