Four Legs in the Morning

[Onyx]

"It's okay!" Onyx says. She sounds like she's panicking though.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Here, hang on!" she says, picking up the mask herself and taking one of Onyx' hands to place the mask in it.

[Onyx]

For the briefest of moments, Nailah can see Onyx's face without the mask. Then Onyx quickly pulls the mask back on and takes a deep breath.

"Thank you. Sorry," Onyx says, starting to settle down.

[Nailah Weaver]

"'s alright. I didn't look." she smiles. "I don't care what you look like without the mask, just who you are underneath it. Wait, that sounds wrong. I mean..."

[Onyx]

Onyx smiles, "You are very sweet, ma'am."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Just call me Nailah. Or Sphinx." she smiles, holding out her hand to help Onyx up.

[Onyx]

"Thank you," Onyx says, taking Nailah's hand, "...Nailah."

[Nailah Weaver]

"That's the first time you actually used my name!" she says cheerfully and pulls Onyx into a hug.

[Onyx]

Onyx blushes, "I thought it would be appropriate. We are friends, yes? That is what friends do?"

Yes. Friendship. That's what Onyx was feeling. Platonic friendship.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Yeah!" she smiles. "Come on, let's go another round or two and then we can go grab some breakfast."

[Onyx]

"Okay, yes," Onyx says, breaking away from Nailah's embrace. "That sounds like a good idea."

[Nailah Weaver]

Nailah takes up a stance to get ready. She's mostly putting it down tot he adrenaline rush but she's really enjoying working out with Onyx and is subsequently grinning like an idiot despite hurting in all kinds of places.
