"And they can do... this."

A mist creeps in and Cailleach gets several vivid flashes of the last time Sam and Tereza were in the club, and the sheer vitality that emerged when the patrons had a brush with the Morrigan.

Cailleach is definitely not watching the scene with wide eyes and she's definitely not salivating. That's probably unrelated goop. She does have bit of a healthy patina of slime outside of the water.

"They worshiped you..." she says in a hushed tone.

"It feels a damn sight better than eating them, I can tell you."

Now her tongue is hanging out between her teeth. Yep, definitely drool.

"I get it now! Awe... Yes!"

"And none of it was forced. I didn't make them feel that. They just understood what was near."

"Yes... yessss! Terrified and awestruck they'll be happy to offer themselves up!" she nods eagerly.

"...you're still thinking of eating them, aren't you?"

"Only some of them!" she exclaims triumphantly.

"Nnh, suppose that's progress," she sighs.

"Yes, yes..." she says distractedly. "But how... Hmm... I have some thinking to do." she announces and spins in place, flattening underbrush with her tail and dragging her tailfin through the ground hard enough to leave a furrow that begins filling with water, carving herself a passage from Sam's Forest.

"You're leaking into my bloody forest."

"No, I'm leaving." Cailleach gives her a dismissive wave and then dives headfirst into the forming puddle, disappearing into it with a slither.

The water swiftly seeps into the ground and disappears, the vegetation slowly growing to reclaim the spot, even if it's left a little wilted from the goopy salt-water.

Sam frowns, and makes her own retreat back into the physical world.

"...suppose that could have gone worse," she mutters.
