After dropping Sam off at the Med Center, Tereza had taken the van back to Maldon assuming someone would need it. She'd gotten busy using her ice to help herd the water away from town and her werewolf strength to shift debris and vehicles out of the way for the recovery crews, but eventually there was no more for her to do and she returned to campus. After a hot shower, she retired to the sauna, leaning back against the wall in one corner as she closed her eyes and sighed heavily.

Sam makes her way in. She's smaller than Tereza last saw her, but still large enough that she has to stoop for a moment to get into the sauna, wrapped in multiple towels to preserve modesty. Her pale skin has a few angry welts from the jellyfish stings. She grimaces for a moment before sitting down.

Tereza doesn't open her eyes, "The Med Center give you a clean-ish bill of health?"

"The ah... largeness is apparently because I got injured while I was shifted. It'll pass. They've treated the stings."

"Hmm," Tereza acknowledges the statement, "No accounting for what happens while you're shifted, I guess."

"How are you holding up? I know you went back out."

"Did some good work, but spent a lot of time shifted. Instincts are a little raw right now." She opens her eyes briefly, their bright gold visible briefly before she closes her eyes again.

"Getting pretty good using your powers while shifted, aren't you?"

"It actually flows better that way sometimes. I just roll with it."

"It's a sight when you're doing that. Beautiful, really."

"I don't know that I'd go that far." Tereza gives a soft smile, "But I appreciate the compliment."

"I mean, I'm biased and I find odd things beautiful by other people's standards."

"Good thing to know that I still qualify as odd," she smirks, "So what are you going to do for a bed now that you're larger than life?"

"Oh, you're not going to expect me to camp outside the window and make sad eyes at you?"

"So you're just going to make me feel bad about my bed not being big enough?" She teases.

"I thought it was incentive to get down to size," she chuckles.

"There are other solutions. If you want to stay larger than life for a bit, that is."

"Well I won't say it wasn't a bit nice. When I wasn't being stung by a giant jellyfish, at least."

"I can imagine that wasn't exactly pleasant. Looking for someone to kiss it and make it better?" Apparently, 'instincts raw' also meant 'unfiltered'.

"I didn't think I was all that inviting looking, covered in welts." She quirks a brow.

"You're the battle-scarred war goddess who's talking about hanging around outside my window making sad eyes at me. It's adorable in a small puppy sort of way."

“Ah, there you’ve buttered me up and murdered me all in one stroke of the knife.”

"Butter helps the knife slide in easier," she grins, an ice dagger forming in her hands, though the object immediately begins sweating and melting, even as she twirls it in her fingers. "Still, it pays to be practiced in the cutting remark. Never know when you're going to need to employ it on a super villain."

"I didn't figure you for the quippy sort of superhero."

"Maybe the right situation just hasn't occurred," she says, "Maybe if I was tangling with someone like Isolde again."

"She'd lose her bloody mind," she chuckles.

"That presumes she hasn't already done so," Tereza quips, "Though she does seem to be doing pretty well lately, at least when I've seen her."

"She can feel however she wants, if she leaves us alone."

Tereza opens an eye, raising the eyebrow along with it, "Some things are hard to forgive, huh?"

"I'm allowed to not get along with her, aren't I?"

"You're allowed to get along with or not get along with whoever you wish. I'm not your social coordinator."

"I'm just saying. Rubs me the wrong way. I'm not going to start anything."

"That's fair. Speaking of getting along, how was your night out with Miriam?"

"Some bad friction, some ah... good friction."

Tereza's eye closes again and her smirk returns, "Sounds like an all-around Sam-likes-this sort of time then."

"Well, it was a little easier knowing it wouldn't bother you, aye?"

"Not everyone who does it for you has to do it for me," Tereza says, folding the ice blade over and letting the melting ice drip over her head, "And vice versa. Not that I have anyone in mind at the moment, just saying."

"I don't think you're in any danger of losing me to the velvet and lace set just yet," she chuckles.

"Just signing you over on alternate Tuesdays for now?" She laughs.

"And I followed it up by growing to giant size and punching a jellyfish. Dainty I'm not," she smirks.
