"A discussion about what?" she asks, part of her mind still shuffling around in the gutter somewhere. Heated? What does she mean with heated?

[Onyx]

Onyx glares at Sam before sighing a little. She looks like she's giving up.

"I do not think we should practice together anymore," Onyx mumbles.

[Nailah Weaver]

"What?" she says before her brain pieces together what Onyx said. Then a realization dawns on her. She upset Onyx and let her down, so she's being replaced. Sam liking girls probably helped. Hence why the two seems to be on the ground. They were sparring. Or possibly... Nailah slams the door shut on that particular line of thinking and tries to pull herself together. "I... I understand."

"You going to tell her how you treated Will?"

[Onyx]

"Do I need to?" Onyx asks bitterly, "I assume you will be glad to inform her yourself."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I don't know Will fits into this, but you don't have to tell me anything. I'll just... leave you two be, yeah?"

[Samantha McManus]

"It doesn't matter. I think I'm done here."

[Onyx]

"Me too," Onyx says. "So, please. Just leave me alone."

[Samantha McManus]

"I know that's what you want. Enjoy your sacrifices, aye?"

She starts to head out.

[Nailah Weaver]

Nailah just nods and manages a "I'm sorry I let you down, Onyx." before turning around and heading for a different way out of the gym than Sam, hoping that nobody's going to notice the moisture gathering in her eyes for some reason.

Luckily for Onyx, masks hide tears pretty well. She gathers her things and leaves shortly after Sam, hoping that she did the right thing.
