Xaviers!

Tereza leaned back against the edge of the hot tub and sighed, lowering her arms under the hot water. The bruises and visible marks of her fight with her sister had since faded, but some of the deep-seated hurts were still there.

The quiet scene was interrupted by three loud, boisterous girls in school racing suits strutted in, quickly entering the tub, inadvertently splashing Tereza's head.

The girls paid no heed. Especially the brown haired one, the apparent leader of the group.

The air above the pool grew perceptibly colder as Tereza sat up, "Do you mind?"

The girls continued talking, ignoring Tereza's snap.

The only response was a smirk and glance from the leader, eliciting a round of giggles.

"I... am... talking... to you," Tereza said as the chill in the air leeched heat out of the water.

"Oh no, someone's not getting enough attention, and out pop the powers. Is everyone here exactly the same?"

The girl finally eyed Tereza, shivering slightly.

"Just those of us who don't suffer inconsiderate bitches," Tereza said, "Because I've dealt with enough of those outside this place already this year."

"Oh boo boo, the world is inconsiderate. Maybe you should just stay on campus, and do everyone outside a favor."

"And maybe you shouldn't talk like you know a damn thing about it," Tereza said, before promptly lashing out to slap her.

The slap connected, sending the brown haired girls face twisting to the right.

She returned to eye contact, slowly forming a smirk.

"Oh, you're going to need to hit a lot harder then that, frosty."

Everyone in the immediate vicinity save the brown haired girl would begin feeling a little lightheaded, although the others in the pool seemed to be ready for it.

Tereza frowned at the light-headed feeling. "Oh, I can hit harder," she growled as an icy fist lunged up out of the water at Kayla, followed by the rest of a humanoid figure.

The other girls began climbing out of the hot tub with concern once the moving ice statue appeared, one of them running to get an authority figure.

Kayla meanwhile, brought her arm down in a knife edge chop, severing the arm attacking her at the elbow with a burst of Tk energy. She began rising from the tub, floating about an inch above the water.

"Still not hard enough.. Are you just not very good? " she asked, obviously mocking.

"Fucking teeks," she said, launching the ice statue at Kayla. The entire thing was sort of spongy and malleable as it tried to engulf her.

Kayla was caught off guard by the amorphous mass engulfing her, and was thrown back against the wall of the room, rage in her eyes.

Tereza would begin feeling a buzzing inside her skull, growing in intensity with each passing moment.

"Let go of me!" Kayla shrieked,

"Not until you apologize," Tereza said, stepping out of the hot tub and walking over to where Kayla was held against the wall.

"Go to hell, Svetlana!"

The buzzing in Tereza's head continued to rise, reaching a roar in a few moments.

The ice mad began vibrating, cracks forming along the surface.

The other girls looked frightened, cowering in the corner.

"Don't call me that and get *out* *of* *MY* *HEAD*!" Tereza yelled, lunging forward to punch Kayla in the head. Anything to make the buzzing noise stop.

The ice mass shattered, ice bits striking out.

Tereza still caught Kayla slightly on the jaw, sending her down to the floor. She looked up, glaring at Tereza, rubbing her cheek.

Most of the other girls ran away, frightened. As they did so, the buzzing in Tereza's mind lessened.

Tereza glared down at her, "Don't assume you know me. Don't assume you know what I've been through. And finally, apologize."

"Fuck you."

Kayla stood up, grabbed her towel, and stormed off before the authorities arrived, turning to give a glare that indicated this wasn't over.

Tereza gave an audible groan of disgust before sliding back into the hot tub, trying to relax.
