Tereza was swimming laps in the pool. Back and forth, back and forth, she finished her current set and pulled herself up to sit on the side of the pool as she took a breather. The lines under her skin were glowing softly and her white-streaked hair was pulled back into a ponytail.

Living as a five inch person came with several disadvantages, however, sometimes the benefits that came around tended to offset the disadvantages. Such was the case when it came to the institutes pool. What was merely a pool to everyone else was more like his own personal ocean, and his own personal abilities had opened up a recreational past time unique to him. Eric landed by the shallow end of the pool, what looked like a miniature surfboard in his arms. He had constructed it from popsicle sticks, glue, and wax in the workshops, and carved it into the right shape to support his near non-existant weight. A couple of strings made from strands of dental floss created some foot holds in the board, which Eric slipped his feet into while sitting at the edge.

He placed the board onto the surface of the water, then began flapping his wings. He didn't take off, rather he used them to create propulsion, until it is allowed him to balance on the board, which skid across the water, allowing him to waterboard without needing a speed boat to pull him.
