"At her most basic, she assesses things as 'prey' or 'threat'. I think 'friend' is a secondary designation for her."

"So, which one am I?" he asked, spreading his arms wide.

She sizes him up again and then looks surprised, "She's not sure what to make of you. Which is weird. That's usually easy for her."

"Very interesting. Very interesting indeed. Might be because of stuff like this..."

Without moving, he shifted into his standard female form -- also shifting into a swimming top, because hey, modesty's a thing.

She gives it some thought, "Possibly. It's certainly something that bears investigating."

"Know thyself," she nodded, and shifted again, falling onto all fours as fur sprouted from her arms and legs, her face stretching into a muzzle.

The end result was kind of a quadruped, green quasi-Lon Cheney look, but it was definitely a wolf of some description.

That certainly gets a reaction. Her lips curls in a slight snarl, though whether it's one of amusement or irritation is hard to tell. She starts blinking, irises flipping from their normal color to yellow. "She's leaning towards threat now."

Will whimpered a bit -- seriously, or mockingly? -- and shifted back, still on all fours on the ground. "Ah, I see. Give the puppers my apologies," she grinned.

Her eyes stayed yellow for a moment, "She accepts your apology." Then the yellow is blinked away and she smiles at Will, "No worries. She still thinks of you as a friend."

"It must be strange having a second voice in the back of your head like that all the time. I guess that makes you and Sam...really good for one another," he grinned, a little wistfully. "Five absolutely crazy people in two bodies," he added after a moment, teasingly.

"Well, if everyone's crazy, then we should all get along...swimmingly!" he said, sliding off the lip and falling into the pool next to Tereza.

Tereza moves back a little from what little splash there is. "Care for a race?"

Tereza grins and says rapidly, "Other end of the pool and back. Ready, set, go!" With that, she takes off.

"Woah, you gotta give me more warning!" Will said, pushing off the wall and kicking, his legs merging together to form a fin as he tried to catch up.

Catching up really isn't an issue. Tereza more of an enthusiastic swimmer than someone with real technique. She's using brute force to plow through the water, which makes her slower than she should be.

Will shifted, streamlining his body to be more aerodynamic (hydrodynamic?), slicing through the water as he caught up. "What are you doing, dog paddling?" he teased, making the turn and bouncing off the other wall.

Tereza makes the turn right after him, muscles bulking a bit before toning back down. Still, she's the last back to the wall, though she manages to make it sort of close.

"Hah! Close but no cigar," Will laughed. "Gotta get up pretty early in the morning to top me, I'm afraid," he teased, flopping his fin.

Speaking of fins...

Bruce bounded out of the changing room and cannonballed into the pool, bellowing "Cannonball!" The resulting massive splash was impressive.

Tereza seems to be about to respond to Will when the splash catches her. "Gah!" She ends up under the water briefly and comes up spluttering. "Bruce!"

The creature rose from the water.

"Oh my God was that awesome or..." he began excitedly, faltering upon registering their annoyed expressions.

"What? Too much?"

"I think we should throw him out of the pool. Violating the rules and all," she grins, ice beginning to form in the water immediately around her.

Bruce gave them a pleading puppy dog look that was actually rather convincing for such a face.

Tereza's grin gets slightly fangy, "Those eyes won't work on me." The ice coalesces around her, forming not into her typical armor, but her werewolf form.

Tereza's voice comes out of the ice, "You should be." She wades forward, intent on Bruce.

Will sank under the water, aiming to come up under Tereza and lift her up and out!

Bruce decided to be a distraction as Will made his move.

"Dude. A water battle with an electric shark? Chill out before you get knocked out."

Between being focused on Bruce, the natural buoyancy of ice, and Will's toss, Tereza ends up on the side of the pool with a loud "Oof!" She scrambles back to her feet, growling as the ice wolf leans forward, "So it's going to be like that?"

"Told ya diving out was more impressive," Will teased. "It's every man for themselves! Shark. Wolf. Whatever."
