"Technology and I don't get along and I'm not sure the Headmistress would appreciate it," Gemma says, blinking away a few tears of pain as she takes the hand she'd been holding over his head and dips it into the water to a slightly audible hiss.

"Are you okay?!" Trev said sitting up too quickly and immediately regretting it, wincing as he head pounded.

"Ow...fuck.... Your hand. Do you need me to take you to the infirmary?"

She shakes her head, "No. I wouldn't be able to explain to them what happened and they wouldn't believe me even if I could." She stops to choose her words carefully, "Call it a 'cost of doing business'."

"I know some of the science people here are kinda down on the whole magic thing but...can...I help you somehow? I mean...I believe you. "

Oh Trev, full of concussion and still trying to be helpful when he has no way to be to the pretty girl.

"Just be careful to what you agree to with me," she says, "Words are important." She pulls her hand from the water, the palm an angry red.

Trev winced as he pushed himself further upright "Well. If you need something...just ask and I'll like. Not agree to anything crazy."

"Famous last words," she says, reaching over with her good hand to check his head again.

He probably had a concussion, but her magic had certainly closed up the cut on his scalp.

"Thank you for dragging my fat ass out of the pool."

"I agreed no lasting injury. Drowning would have counted."

"True," he nodded, then instantly regretted the head movement, grimacing.

"So. Uh...maybe I could buy you a drink sometime. Maybe um...when we're both more clothed."

"If I agree to it, I will be bound to do it, so let us leave at 'we will see'. I must consult with Vivienne first."

"...you guys don't mess around with agreements, do you?...but yeah. That's fair," he winced, trying to stand up a bit wobbly.

"Do you need assistance to the infirmary?"

"Maybe," he said, sitting back down after realizing he was dangerously close to falling back into the water after that last attempt. "Yeah. If you don't mind."

"I don't mind," she says, moving beside him to help him back up.

Trev tried to stand as much as he could himself, doing a fairly decent job of not leaning into Gemma too much, and a slightly less decent job of not admiring her in her swimsuit. He blushed and looked towards the exit.

"So...uh...yeah. Thank you," he fumbled as they started towards the infirmary.
