"Like two people are off in the corner and they're not noticing anyone else because they're just pashing away like this."

Sam makes air-kissing motions that more resemble a dying fish for emphasis, her arms cradled around an invisible makeout partner.

"That makes sense, I suppose."

Vivienne's watched Sam's pantomime with a mental "Whaaaa?" The look on her face was just as undignified.

"Ah...yes, well." She seemed to pull herself back in order.

"From this side it looks ridiculous and most embarrassing. I suppose it works better in true practice then in appears to in theory and pantomime."

"Aye. Normally there'd be someone there."

"Yeah, normally you can't see the other person's lips. You're too close for that. And you usually don't care what it looks like from the outside."

"Strange, but I know when to bow to those who know when I do not. As I said, I lack much on this topic."

"We could fix that," Tereza said, mostly teasing.

"I think she'd be more likely to slap most of the boys here."

"And I think attempting such would negate the entire point of the previous conversation, that such things are best unscripted and desired by the individuals involved."

"That implies that I 1, had a script in mind, and 2, wasn't actually interested," she said, winking at Vivienne.

"She hasn't heard the music you and my roommate like, though."

"If it is anything like what was played at the party, I think the liberal application of cotton and wax in the ears would be in order after a while and while I have so far enjoyed your company, Tereza, I do not think I have reached that level of affection for you just yet." She was smiling and perhaps blushing, but it was hard to tell with that "perfect fey" complexion.

Tereza shrugged with a smirk, "Your loss."

"You too could be serenaded by something that sounds like you gave the god of thunder a bass guitar."

"My music's not that bad."

"Another time and place."

She looked thoughtful for a moment. "So...very very loud, more then a little pretentious and obnoxious."

"Loud yes, pretentious no."

"Perhaps you will introduce me to your music. Once more, I am no doubt out of the loop." The little ice man's lute hovered out of his hands a moment then settled back down to be "played" again.

"I'd be happy to sometime, though just wait and the entire hallway will probably get introduced to it several times."

"So it's not what Sofia was playing?"

"God no. While I can appreciate her taste, my music is less screechy... usually."
