Colette let out a shriek and tried to shield herself with her arms and what she was holding. If it had been her legal pad it would have worked fairly well. But a tablet, not so much.

"Am I wh--" Amy turns towards the floating water bottle just in time to be splashed. She raises her hands to shield herself but in the surprise she loses her grip on her power. She lifts an inch or two off the ground as two beams of white light fire out of her hands, narrowly missing Basil on each side, carving furrows into the ground and obliterating tables and chairs in their path as a bunch of students jump out of the way. "Oh nononono!" Amy shouts as she tries to reign in the beams, finally managing to keep the energy from pouring out of her hand after leaving two trails of destruction through half the room.

Colette's shoes flew through the air, presumably disembodied now. The water bottle also dropped unceremoniously, clunking against the ground due to it's emptiness.

If Basil was still present, it wasn't apparent.

One of those jumping students was Chase, the half wall having gotten ventilated by lasers.

He really hoped the girls didn't realize he had been hiding there.

Colette was shouting very quickly and very Frenchly, her arms gesticulating wildly. Of course most students could not understand a word she said but her inflection and tone suggested not all of it was polite. And the destruction that ensued did not exactly help to calm her down, which in turn wasn't much of a help for Amy either. It wasn't until the dust began to settle that she reached a slightly more calm and coherent state. As worked up as the pink gal was she was still level-headed enough to show some compassion toward a fellow student.

"Are you all right miss Amy?"

"Oh god, I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" Amy is still glowing faintly, most evident in her eyes. She also seems to be floating, jittering in midair as if she was held in place simply on account of being torn on which direction to be yanked by her power.

Basil still hadn't shown himself. Either he was a complete asshole and left Chase to deal with this aftermath, or something was wrong here in addition to Amy's powers still freaking out.

"Amy, it is okay. No one was hurt. Please, come down?" The girl might have only been an inch or two off of the ground but Colette offered her a hand anyway. That is until her hair twitched a bit as a cat's ears might.

"Baseel?" She asked, looking in the direction of the voice. It wasn't one she recognized, but the name she did. Things started to click into place in her mind, dismissing other possible explanations such as telekinesis or item possession or who knows what else the students here could do. Her pale pinkness darkened in hue to that of cherry licorice.

"Monsieur Benson!" Colette stomped a white-stocking'd foot upon the floor in a manner that suggested rage, but her form was not especially intimidating. "You 'ad better show yourself as best you can zis very instant!"

All the blustering anger was for naught. Either he didn't ( or couldn't) find her very intimidating or he wasn't here at all anymore.

"I'm trying, I'm trying!" she says, raising a couple feet, then bobbing back down towards the ground a little too fast, her knees bending as she tries to catch herself. She's still glowing faintly but it's slowly fading away.

A brief guilty feeling over giving Basil away quickly gave way to increasing worry. He started searching the trail of destruction for any sign of his invisible friend.

"This isn't funny anymore Basil! Say something!" he pleaded, hoping it was just a cruel joke. That he could take.

Searching the path of destruction Amy had wrought did prove fruitful for Chase, his foot knocking against some unseen force on the ground just about where Basil had been standing before Bedlam broke out. It didn't respond to his verbal commands however.

He knelt down and felt for somewhere he could check for a pulse.

After careful searching and a level of groping that would be highly uncomfortable in normal circumstances, Chase would find Basil's slender wrist. He still had a pulse, and while it was low, it seemed to be picking up pace as he laid there on the ground. His chest was still rising and failing slightly ad he took shallow breathes. Chase's groping found no tacky wet spots on Basil's personage so neither sight nor feel suggested the boy was bleeding.

All of this information filtered through Chase's ninja senses would tell him that Basil had fallen unconscious, though what caused this to happen was beyond Chase's expertise.

Chase breathed out a sigh of partial but deeply felt relief.

"He's unconscious but I don't think he got hit." The broken wave of panic was evident in his voice.

Colette took in a slow, deep breath through her nose. Did she even need to breath? Perhaps it was only out of habit or for keeping up appearances. With body rigid she turned her back to the boys and returned to Amy as the girl worked to settle herself.

"You can do zis, miss Amy. Just breaze in, breaze out. Everyzing is fine now."

"Right... right... Everyone's okay, yeah?" she asks, wobbly drifting towards the ground as the glow slowly subsides. "I'm so sorry. I got startled..."

"It is alright Amy, it is not your fault." The girl gently patted Amy's shoulder as she descended. "If you had not done it, I would have punched him myself."

Colette turned back toward the general area where Chase had said Basil was and walked toward it slowly, her body lurching slightly as she almost tripped over the unseen prone of prostrate form. She opened her mouth as if to say something and then thought better of it. Instead she stepped over (and sometimes one) him and began to collect her things.

Unfortunately rough treatment seemed to rouse the invisible man, and he responded with -

"I don't think I like this game anymore Amber..." in a small weak voice.

Whoever the hell that was.

Colette looked down where the voice came from before turning up her nose and finishing grabbing her belongings, putting most of them in her satchel before she turned for the door.

Not really aware of where he was, Basil didn't even notice Colette collecting her things to leave. Mostly because his head felt like he'd smashed it into a concrete wall.

Because he smashed into a floor. Very similar things there as far as a completely normal human skull was considered. Thankfully she was clear of him before his stomach decided to empty it's contents.

The visible stomach bile present suggested that Chase was right, Basil wasn't currently bleeding.

"Nevermind, he just got up."

"Yeah, I'll make sure he gets looked at."

Chase hung up and walked back towards Basil.

"You okay Basil?" he asked, his tone serious.

That certainly released some of his brewing anger.

"You decided to prank them and were rewarded with what I hope is just a concussion."

Basil sat upright furrowing his brow at Chase's comment and trying desperately to recall why he'd done it. But he still couldn't be seen. "My head hurts." He replied to Amy. It wasn't exactly a proper response, though it seemed if she had blasted him he might be complaining about worse, such as 'My eye is free of the socket' or ' you melted all the skin off my face'.

"Sorry." He said reflexively in his British engrained manner. It probably wasn't nearly the apology owed, but that wouldn't really come until he could clearly remember what he did.

"Kaaaaay." He replied, mostly just because Chase was calling shots and he himself was clearly incapable right now.

"Are the girls coming too? Did I hurt them? I didn't mean to "

At least for the moment, Basil was accepting what had happened as entirely his fault, even though the details were foggy to him. Things usually were so why would this be different.

Basil was more than accepting of his friend's help, or would be if Chase could see him. It only just occurred to him he was still invisible.

"Ooooooooh. You can't see me." He stated with vague recognition to a part of the problem.

After a moment, Basil's undersuit was visible, and an arm reached up as if he was asking for help getting up from no one in particular.

"I am not worried to walk wiz you if you are not worried to walk wiz me."

The girl didn't have any bones so there wasn't much for Amy to break, so what would Colette have to fear from her?
