"Eternal torment is mentioned in several volumes," Sean said, "Reliving being hunted for all eternity was mentioned once... Several mention being cursed in various ways or permanently turned into inanimate objects unable to interact but still able to perceive the world around them."

Diego looked rather amused by all this. "Just steer clear of any mushroom rings and you'll be fine," he teased Trev.

Trev chuckled nervously, eyes darting between the three people who were totally pulling his leg...right?

...guys?

Gemma tries to sip her beer, but only manages a bit before she laughs at Trev's bewildered expression.

Gemma’s outburst of laughter brought some measure of comfort to the poor boy, and his grin widened, the panic draining from his eyes. “You had me going there for a minute,” he chuckled.

"I would still recommend against crossing the Fey," Sean smiled slightly. "Or signing anything."

"One could argue that it is wisest to avoid all contact if possible." Vivienne said as she joined the group, still blue-green.

"Forgive my tardiness, I had to...place a call."

"Get her a beer," Gemma says to the bartender, looking with brief concern at Vivienne's blue-green state.

"The lands of the Fey sound a lot like Vegas. The house always wins."

"In a way, yes." She carefully "thanked" the bartender once her beer arrived.

With the first few sips her color rippled back to her human hue.

"Every once in a while, we have a victory," Gemma comments, "And there will be more."

"To victories,' Sean said raising his glass, " And not burning the entire neighborhood down."

Trev raised his glass in agreement, edging closer to Gemma, and almost visibly considering putting an arm around her, but hesitating awkwardly.

Gemma's apparently more aware of the gesture than Trev is probably hoping. She looks at the arm in limbo for a moment. Then she grabs him by the wrist and puts his around around her waist. She screws up her face as if she's contemplating whether she likes it or not, then she gives an imperceptible nod and leaves the arm where it is.

Trev turned several shades of red, especially after being called out by Diego, but in response he just nodded while taking a sip of his beer and keeping a comfortably tight grip around Gemma's waist.
