It was in the evening and Violet was sitting at a table with a beer and a basket of fish and chips. She seemed to be enjoying her meal, but she also looked a bit distracted, glancing around the room every now and then.

Nailah comes bouncing in along to some tune that's stuck in her head she's humming along to. She goes up to the bar and, after a brief argument on the relative importance of a couple months, settles for ordering a soda from the barkeeper. She shoots him a parting glare before noticing Violet and waving at her across the room.
